Ooh, thanks for this. Certainly jolted me awake this morning. Mad as hatters, really talented and very creative: the musical holy trinity in my book. 

I have to paint the shared hallway today. It was going to be plain white as mandated by the building regulations but for some reason I am now thinking about that little pot of black paint we have sitting in the cupboard..... 😂

This has reminded me of a band i saw last summer at Arctangent Festival. 

I thought id just stop for a couple songs before heading to the bar but ended up staying for the whole set. Sleepytime Gorilla Museum have a whole lot of strange and an excellent name

 

There was also a band called Clown Core who were incredibly weird but im still suffering PTSD from their visuals.

Its not whining. They are the opposite to this, perfectly competent. Can't fault the playing, recording, mixing etc but they have no weirdness, nothing to challenge the listener, nothing unusual. They're just standard. This is the opposite to that. You're never going to hear this played as background music in a supermarket. Most people who hear this will think its a mess but those who get it will really enjoy it.

Nah keep whining about Coldplay. It’s certainly more entertaining than any music they have released.

 

Coldplay are the Korma of the Curry world. A curry for people who don’t really like curry.
