HeadlessBassist Posted yesterday at 12:25 Posted yesterday at 12:25 Soundtrack to a relaunch of the "Mr.Soft" adverts of the 80s? I'm nearly four minutes in and I'm suddenly feeling the need to lie down in a dark room! Quote
nige1968 Posted yesterday at 13:36 Posted yesterday at 13:36 Love this. ICAWW, Angine de poitrine is French for Angina. 3 Quote

Gank Bass Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Absolutely love this! I recommend Bob Log III & Clown core for similar weird excellence 2 Quote
Piers_Williamson Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago I was going to put this on Bass Chat Cats, because my cat was ripping up my desk for 10 minutes of this. It was so out there it was brilliant. It makes Royal Blood look amateur. 2 Quote
Misdee Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago (edited) The only way this mob could be even more bohemian is if they're not actually even French. I certainly wouldn't want to be sharing a bathroom with them in rented accomodation. Edited 19 hours ago by Misdee 1 Quote

SteveXFR Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Its unusual but I definitely dig it. Weird is good. U2 and Coldplay are what you get without weird and thats bad. 2 1 Quote
Grooverjr Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Ooh, thanks for this. Certainly jolted me awake this morning. Mad as hatters, really talented and very creative: the musical holy trinity in my book. I have to paint the shared hallway today. It was going to be plain white as mandated by the building regulations but for some reason I am now thinking about that little pot of black paint we have sitting in the cupboard..... 😂 Quote
bertbass Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Strange fret spacings on the bass and guitar necks. Quote
SteveXFR Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago (edited) This has reminded me of a band i saw last summer at Arctangent Festival. I thought id just stop for a couple songs before heading to the bar but ended up staying for the whole set. Sleepytime Gorilla Museum have a whole lot of strange and an excellent name There was also a band called Clown Core who were incredibly weird but im still suffering PTSD from their visuals. They are the opposite to this, perfectly competent. Can't fault the playing, recording, mixing etc but they have no weirdness, nothing to challenge the listener, nothing unusual. They're just standard. This is the opposite to that. You're never going to hear this played as background music in a supermarket. Most people who hear this will think its a mess but those who get it will really enjoy it. Quote

Nah keep whining about Coldplay. It’s certainly more entertaining than any music they have released. Coldplay are the Korma of the Curry world. A curry for people who don’t really like curry. I might blast it out from my phone next Saturday when I'm in Lidl. 1 Quote
