Jean-Luc Pickguard Posted January 6 Posted January 6 What product, that doesn't currently exist, do you think a specific manufacturer should produce? I have a smattering of Waza-craft pedals in my Boss pedal collection, but I don't think there has been a bass-specific waza pedal. To remedy this, I think a Bass Chorus, CEB-3w, would be a good idea. This would be like any CEB-3, but with the addition of a mini-switch to select whether it has the sound of the current CEB-3 or the earlier pink label analog version. Quote
Wombat Posted January 6 Posted January 6 The Boss WL-20 is an amazing wireless dongle. It’s great at open mics (or anywhere you swap instruments) as the ‘little switch’ cuts it when you pull it out so there’s no ‘pop’. No finding the tuner or other mute. Just pull it out and stick it in the next one! It’s easy to charge the two dongles together and it lasts forever. I can do a rehearsal an open mic and a gig on one charge. But it only comes in 2.4ghz :-(. I’ve had to stop using mine live because the interference is so bad. If there was a 5.8ghz version I’d get one straight away! 2 Quote
MichaelDean Posted January 6 Posted January 6 I would like Boss to make an updated MS-3 with more loops (6?) and options for parallel paths, plus all of the GX range effects also embedded. Make it powered by an IEC cable and include a pedal power supply too. Quote
BigRedX Posted January 6 Posted January 6 I just want to see a firmware update for the Helix/HX series that includes a MIDI triggered VCF and VCA with full and independent ADSR envelopes for each. 2 Quote
tauzero Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Ibanez or Cort to make a neck-through headless, 34" scale, variants with 4, 5, and 6 strings, parallel frets, switchable active, HH, Ibanez SR series neck profile, fretless also available. Natural wood and solid colours. Roland to open-source project LYDIA: https://articles.roland.com/introducing-project-lydia/ PiPedal inna box. Raspberry Pi, the guts of a decent USB audio interface, a display (possibly touch-screen), some buttons, and some knobs. 3 Quote
SteveXFR Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Marshall to make an exact replica of Lemmy's Murder One and sell it for a price I can afford. A portable guitar stand that doesn't fall over regularly. A budget range from Rickenbacker with the same electronics as the full price models but cheaper woods and a bolt on neck. 3 Quote
asingardenof Posted January 6 Posted January 6 I don't think Fender have produced quite enough minimally different variations of the Precision and Jazz basses yet, so I think they need to get on that 1 19 Quote
Jean-Luc Pickguard Posted January 6 Author Posted January 6 A special edition of the JMJ Mustang bass in a custom colour nitro with the production line's 'road-worn' operation bypassed. 2 Quote
Jean-Luc Pickguard Posted January 6 Author Posted January 6 That reminds me, I would like a set of 40 60 70 95 Ernie Ball cobalt flats in 32" scale suitable for string-thru mustang basses to exist so I can try them on a JMJ. Quote
Suburban Man Posted January 6 Posted January 6 I’m sure there’s a market for a bass ‘arpeggiator’. I just play the root note and it kindly fills in with a suitable walking pattern or fill. Not that I’m lazy or anything… 2 2 Quote

AinsleyWalker Posted January 6 Posted January 6 I'd really like to see a compact pedal in the same vein as the Moog Murf line which offers expression control over the 'mix', so you can add in LFO type effects via expression. Fatty from Submotion Orchestra does(or did) this with the big Moogerfooger, but something compact and available would be cool. Shame they didn't do a Minifooger Murf/LFO type pedal. I have the MF Chorus but only the rate can be controlled via expression, not the mix, otherwise I could potentially use it in a similar way. Quote

Also check out the Meris Hedra perhaps 1 Quote
Greg Edwards69 Posted January 6 Posted January 6 (edited) A Boss Katana bass practice amp. Their guitar and bass katana and waza products line up well against each other, but there's nothing smaller than the 1x10. I want something akin to the desktop class katana amps specifically designed for bass. Edited January 6 by Greg Edwards69 Quote
Greg Edwards69 Posted January 6 Posted January 6 I'd also love to see Zoom revisit their old 9000 series form factor with modern processing. I loved that wedge-shaped device you could jam under an amp handle, and the compact passive remote footswitch for a tidy stage. Quote

itu Posted January 6 Posted January 6 (Boss) dist/reverb/X-over pedal for bass. Very small footprint vol/exp pedal that you can push down with your feet instead of those big rocker pedals. A spring loaded unit. 2 Quote
