dannybuoy Posted June 12, 2023 Share Posted June 12, 2023 There are lots of popular channels out there from BassTheWorld, The Bass Channel, JuliaPlaysGroove, Scotts Bass Lessons, etc… here’s a couple of new-ish channels I subscribed to recently that don’t have many followers but are well worth a look: Bassed - a couple of bass geeks from Kentucky who review gear and interview players The Wetter Bass - gear reviews tastefully done, great playing and always gets the best out of the pedals being demoed Shout out any others that deserve more attention down below! How many times can you watch the neck being sorted and the action improved. I've seen him busking in Falmouth and he is really good Gev Delano - very talented kid Jermaine Morgan - lessons, demos, etc. Rumblin Man - demos of bass and guitar stuff Some non-bass stuff: Alison Eales - friend of mine just released her first album, go check it out because it's awesome (and I'm not just saying that because I'm biased) Dominic Noble - book reviews exurb1a - philosophy and stuff J Draper - History Nicole Coenen - lumberjacking lesbian and, er, something Canadian starting with L... I subscribed off the back of those (and his content on Zappa and the Mighty Boosh) and this popped up a few days ago. Interestingly he changed the pickups to lollar standard wound. He then changed the casing. Many people thought it was dimarzio P pickups. Yes I really like how he sits in the groove.
