The Palmer Octobus controls all pedals (programmable) apart from the Multicomp which is always ON.

There are 4 gain/ dirt stages: Carl Martin Bass drive (low gain tube breakup), MXR Bass OD (medium gain), COG Fuzz (settings pretty heavy) and lastly the excellent B3K distortion ( hi gain distortion). I use these separate and combined.

Then a simple EBS Octabass, MXR Bass Envelope and MXR Chorus for more sonic goodness and lastly an MXR Line Driver for Clean Boost and a Korg Tuner.

My board is a Pedaltrain PT3 and I have 2 Voodoo Lab power plants installed to power it all.

Tom did a great job on the Grand Tarkin as he has named the production model of Harvey's Wallbanger (my son is called Harvey, fuzz is a wallbanger blah blah etc). My feedback/review on it is under COG in the Affiliates section if you want to take a gander. I really like it and I am spoiled when it comes to pedals.

I've got 3 shows with KADE in the next week so decided to sort the board out today. This is the last time you'll see my setup before it migrates to one of my Really Awesome Pedalboard Company boards. I'm basically using the PitchFactor for everything these days having spent a lot of time with it. It does my pitch shifting, crazy delay, reverb, ambience, octaves, synths, some fuzz, chorus and modulation, plus a bucket load of other sounds now that I've started feeding it LFO's form the MP-201. I'll be adding an aux switch soon so I can move around it easier in the near future.

Finally got round to buying a Pedaltrain Mini after much hesitation whether to purchase it or the Nano.

From Right-to Left (following the signal path)

1. TU2-Tuner
2. GEB-7 Equalizer - Considering switching this to a Sansamp Tech 21.
3. CEB - 3 - Great for subtle and over the top chorus songs from the 80's :)
4. Mooer Reecho Pedal - Used only when I use my double bass bow. Great to add a little texture.
5. [Clone] Ezekiel 25:17 Bass Distortion - This thing is a beast. Check out samples of it on YouTube,

POWER - Currently using the Boss PSA230ES. Probably not favoured by many here, but does the job and is small and neatly fits in the bag.

CABLES - GYC Slimline cables for all pedals (Picture was taken before I bought two more for the Reecho and Ezekiel.

Nice board! How do you find the MXR Overdrive? I've been thinking of adding one to my own box of tricks.

Altough I do own quite a lot of pedals, they are not on a pedalboard. I'm posting my current seup anyway, hope that's fine ...
To my defense: there actually is a board in the setup, you'll see.

First my clean/sub line: Chorus inverse out (I use the chorus as a splitter) --> Octamizer --> Mole --> Magic Thunder Bass Fuzz .
This goes into Dynacord Eminent II & Acoustic 301.

Then the main line, part 1: Chorus --> Tube Screamer (clone) --> Ampeg Scrambler (clone) --> Juggernaut --> ....

... main line, part 2: Hyper Fuzz --> Wolly Mammoth (clone) --> Fuzz O))) --> Ox Fuzz Bass --> ....

...and, main line part 3: Flanger --> Delay --> Loop Station

We're almost done, stick with me, please.

From the Loop Station, the main line goes to my Ironing Board, where there is a Ringworm Modulator. I use the modulator to, well, modulate the bass loops, by turning the knobs.
The main line then goes into a MusicMan HD 130 & Ampeg Isovent.

There is also a Delay Monotron and some circuit bent "Relax machine" (sounds of waves, birds and the like that can be "pitched" and "noised"). Those two gimmicks go into the Dynacord, as I don't play bass whenever some bass loop is running and I'm on the Ironing board turning knobs, so the sub line is free.

All in all, it looks like this.

I'm constantly adding or swapping pedals in the dirt section.
I'm still wondering if and where I could use my dual band compressor.
I want more gimmicks on the ironing board.

And maybe one of the experts could answer this: Can I split the signal again, say somewhere within the dirt section, and run this to a 3rd amp?
And then, split it again ...? and again ...? I mean, how many times can you split a signal?

Cheers.

But on a serious note - what kind of mad, wonderful, out there music are you playing with pitched birdsong? I think we need samples :)
Well, the pitched birds are just background singers, but if you feel adventerous and want to have a listen, there is a soundcloud link in the sig. (there are two takes of the same setlist)

Nice ... how is that Sony wireless working for you? I've eyed it for a while, it's between it and a G30/G50, haven't decided yet.
Excellent, far better than the stageclix I had before, not missed a beat since owning it. The cable for the transmitter is a bit cheap and crap but works all the same.
just waiting on a custom Line selector to get rid of the boss and the board should be finished till I find something else to buy.

two BB preamps?? how do you use the two - stacked, or just set for different levels of gain??

slight change to mine - get fed up having a full mini with one extra pedal on the floor, so benched the EQD dispatch master. thing is, it's an amazing 'bedroom' pedal for bass, but gets lots in a band mix, especially the reverb :/

The only problem I now have is my pedaltrain mini softcase is falling apart. The mini is the ONLY PT board Mono don't do a case for, and have no plans to do so, plus no hard case options, so what do you do???

I would get in touch with Flightcase Warehouse/Castle Cases/Other flightcase provider and get one made. Though the big question is, is it worth it?

well - yes! the soft case is falling apart and I don't want £500 of pedals getting trashed!!!

I often carry this board to practise on foot with my bass so flight cases not ideal... It's just frustrating mono make such good replacement cases for every style and size of PT board apart from the mini...

That's bizarre ... I can't think of a reason they'd miss that one out. Does anyone know anything about relative sales volumes ? Is the mini the least popular PT product ? I can't imagine it would be.
