He returns at the end to describe how, decades later he sees Hubbard's name on a war memorial and realises his body was found and recovered - that's when it gets me. It led to a tumultuous period in my life. Crazy Baby I discovered when I was at my lowest after everything then fell apart. I can't listen to either song now. It always makes me think of my two older children who are now all grown up and making their own way in the world. They were both little when it came out and I could imagine me passing on similar advice to them, not to make the same mistakes I made.
