Graham Parker and the Rumour, Nick Lowe and Jona Lewie in tribute show for Bob Andrews. Putney Half Moon. Haven’t seen Parker in 45 years. Now the Rumour were a band...

That looked a great gig Mick. I’ve been a massive Graham Parker & Nick Lowe fan since the 70’s, seen

GP & The Rumour many times. Caught them a few years ago in Leeds when they briefly got back

together, I think with the original line up including Andrew Bodnar on bass. Always enjoyed Martin Belmont

and Brinsley Schwarz on guitar duties too.
If I’d known I would have tried to get to Putney for this one - to my shame I wasn’t aware that Bob Andrews

had passed away in June, very sad.
Many thanks for the set lists and pics Mick.

It would have been great to have had you there! And Andy Bodnar, who apparently has health issues. Steve Goulding held it all together as great drummers do!

The official backstage pic below. I am still buzzing…

Brinsley is ageing well. I had a long conversation with him, years ago, when he was also the amp tech at Chandler’s. A thoroughly nice gent and a mine of information on the workings of amplifiers. Also saw him with GP at the Marquee and Mean Fiddler, back in the late ‘80s; great player.
