TrevorR Posted November 22 Posted November 22 One from earlier in this year at the regular Monday Night Jam I go to. Having fun grooving to the Ceelo Green/Live at Darryl’s House version of I Can’t Go For That (No Can Do). Can you tell I love my new Sandberg? 7 Quote

binky_bass Posted November 24 Posted November 24 (edited) Here's a slightly prophetic one I found at my parents the other day... A 16yr old me wearing a T-Shirt that says 'Reuben' on it. 22 years later we now have a 2yr old son called Reuben! Edited November 24 by binky_bass 10 1 Quote

Looking good Stevie. You suit the Stingray, and as for that tartan suit, well what can i say. Band is sounding great as expected from your bands. You're definitely putting me in the mood for a Stingray. Dave 1 Quote

I went the other way. Started Jazz copy, then a P fretless, then a few basses later another Jazz back in 80's. In the 2010's i bought a Geddy Jazz, then a P bass (now sold), then a PJ and now a MarloweDK Jazz lookalike on steroids. I do like my Geddy Jazz tho both for tone and the neck and playability. Its just so nice and a warmer tone than the Sandberg. I might have a try on a US P bass again as i do love the tone of a P too. Nothing else sounds like a Fender P. Dave 1 Quote
