Not quite achieved it, but got a Tokai Hardpuncher with P/J configuration, in white, so very nearly there.

Yeah, not the only one with a Duff signature on the wish list. I've got a couple of BC Richs and the Charvel with the same rough configuration, so I don't feel I'm missing out too much.

Well my GAS is going very well so far this year. I have the EBS Reidmar which sounds amazing. I have the EBS Classic 112 which also sounds amazing.

However, I now have GAS for the following,

A Fender Japan Jazz 66B in white with matching headstock, blocks and binding. Yummy.

Oh Lawd! Thats tasty! I am GASsing for a 4 string Musicman StingRay in sunburst, with a maple neck.

Yeah as soon as I saw it (sildx posted a picture a long time ago) I knew I had to have one. Thankfully they are not crazy money new :) but very hard to find in the UK

I think my new 400W Hartke head will see out the gigging season, and I won't need anything nicer for a while. Could it be that 2012 wil be a quiet year?!?!

I hope not

This years already looking better for us.
So far I have seven weddings, two recording sessions, a dozen or so pub gigs, a beer festival, a village 'fete' and some arts festival thing that I haven't really got my head around but pays (so I'm not too interested in the finer details ).

Ironically, we have been talking about building a website for the band in an attempt to promote it (especially after last years pretty poor gig rate).
The problem now is that if we do that we're not sure we could cope with the extra work as we're only in month two now!

I've got a completely old school (++heavy) rig, so GASing for an Orange Terror Bass and Barefaced 212 (one rig for the town, one for the country!), but also got one eye on the hybrids Matamp are developing. I don't use any pedals, but have a hankering for something from DHA. Just put a deposit on an ACG, so sorted for Basses, but she will take a good few months.. itch itch itch itch

Well after trying lots of different fretless basses, I think one I would be very happy to settle with is this, a Fender Tony Franklin Precision. I would have a standard Fender Precision Fretless but Fender don't actually make one so it would have to be this.

I have now found a really nice RW jazz bass. no GAS for a bass at the moment. I have also just ordered a Barefaced Midget. Whoops, that wasn't on my list.

I have cured my amp GAS recently. I have just acquired a Promethean and a Barefaced compact. I cant wait to use them in anger.

Bass wise I am on the look out for a pre CBS jazz!! I missed out on one recently and am still kicking myself.
In reality I will also be looking for a roadworn jazz or '60s RI jazz.

I came into 2012 GAS free, but a visit to LBGS had me trying a GWB35 which resulted in an eventual purchase. Although it sounds and plays really good I couldn't live with the nasty flat none more black 'stealth' finish so I took some Nitromors and a palm sander to it. Pretty happy with the result, a bit of waxing still required over the Danish Oil, but it's almost there.

I watched the video for Anchor by Cave In the other day and now have GAS for a black Gibson Ripper, will need to get the Mayones sold to have any chance of that though.

Also, would really like to get a P-Retro and a D-tune for my Lakland and really sort my distortion tone out - I'm thinking an EBS Metaldrive with a line splitter to keep the bottom end

Bass - Sterling by MusicMan Ray34CA in Mint Green! *drooooool*
Pedals - All MXR stuff: another Bass Octave Deluxe (I stupidly sold my original!), a Carbon Copy and the Bass Compressor.
I'd also like a Diago Powerstation too if you're buying! :D

Ooooh! I want a pedalboard too!

Quite a gaseous year for me. Selling off my Orange rig and gone for something more lightweight, tried the Promethean but now ended with with a Streamliner and Ampeg SVT210AV, with a Barefaced Midget on the way.

Pedals - bought and sold a Zoom B3 and got rid of a lot of unused stuff. Only new item I'm hanging onto there is a Tech21 Oxford which sounds great.

Basses, I had inexplicable GAS for a Stingray so bought and pretty much straight away sold a Ray35. Was tempted by a BB1025X to replace my BB415 but sticking with it for now. Only GAS I have bass-wise is the new 2012 model Schecter Hellcat VI, just to try something a bit different:

My GAS has just been re-ignited by my wife's cousin who's currently in the studio rehearsing for a tour. His rig is being serviced so he's borrowed a GK MB500 and 2 BF Compacts (he normally uses a 1001rb and 2 RBH410's) He phoned me and said "This thing sounds f***ing immense, and it's light as a feather, I'll see if I can hang onto it for a bit and you can try it out". God damn him!!

I want a guitar amp. I have had a nice guitar for 5 years (US Fender Toronado) but still do not own an amp. I have been borrowing my brother's Marshall Valvestate combo, but its hardly great. Ideally I would like a nice combo or head or 2x12. Marshall Vintage Modern looks cool, Orange Th30, Laney LH50 etc. Any one of them would be great. Or an old JCM 800/Selmer Treble and Bass etc. When I find the money...

Got way too much gear as it is, definitely don't need more. Have already succumbed to an Eventide Pitchfactor and may end up selling the other Spector NS5CR.

The rest of my GAS will be self build focussed I suspect and subject to how much money I have left over for a bandsaw, custom jig and sander thicknesser after the house renovations.
