  1. I'll be thinking I must remember what I'm thinking so I can post my thoughts to this thread.
  2. Beat me to it. Let's hope it gets back on topic and stays that way.
  3. I can dial in some on ny TC classic 450
  4. As is often the case no dates in the South West.
  5. Well said there.
  6. Ours is a pi55artist!
  7. They are so good you can't tell the difference!
  8. I haven't practiced for a while and will admit to watching the last 2 England games despite not being a footie fan. It's the summer and motorcycling weather.
  9. I have molded plugs with Elacin ER15's from the hospital audiologist. Same as the ACS. I have the 25 filters for really loud stuff including sustained motorcycle riding. Couldn't live without them. Got used to them very quickly. Mild tinnitus made them necessary. Stage volume is around 90db average which is too much without protection. Join the club.
  10. Hi. I live in Torquay. There are a few BC's here. The music scene is reasonably healthy here, especially if you are prepared to gig outside the Bay too. There is no music shop of any real merit. I suppose you can find ads on JMB or Lemonrock. I hope you settle in and get gigging soon.
  11. Go for it. I taught a 40 year old women who was new to bass some years ago. She stuck at it and played in a few bands. Find a good tutor who will inspire you and keep at it. You won't regret it.
  12. I'll have to get out my Roger Mellie's Profanisaurus and work my way through that. Unless the Mods already have and have substitute words for everything!
  13. I'm sure we'll maintain this thread and keep the log book up to date.
  14. Backlog eh? The log is back for sure!
  15. Done. Glad to help. Not a pleasant story and I hope the scammer gets what he deserves.
  16. I'm afraid not. Although my Aria Pro 2 fretless sounds good and was cheap so almost makes it but not quite.
  17. Definitely. They always deliver a great set.
  18. Favourite song in our current set is Crazy Train. We all nail it and it always goes down well.
  19. Me too. Wouldn't dare turn it off. Would anyone notice? Who knows.
  20. Played a nice Sandberg at the LBGS last year while I was with Bluejay. Not in the market for a new bass as I have my Ray but was mighty impressed with it. The same for a Mansons JPJ bass. Both out of my price range TBH.
  21. Actually managed to watch last night's all the way through. One of the better ones I feel.
  22. Hi & welcome. Nice gear. When I'm not playing my bass I'm riding my motorbike. Wales is fantastic and it's ways good to ride up to the North end, especially Snowdonia.
  23. Used to be in a Sterephonics tribute band sone years ago called Stereotonics. There was another band from up country with the same name but we didn't step on each others toes. Singer guitarist was Welsh, played a SG and looked a bit like Kelly. We played songs from the first 3 albums before knocking it on the head. Had a blast playing some great songs at some great venues, especially the student scene.
  24. Just over 2 miles
  25. Got wireless 58's for me our singer. Industry standard!
