1. I know you said no trades , but I see that you've sold pretty much everything apart from the Burninator . Do you fancy a trade with a boxed Korg G5 synth pedal + £20 your way for the Burninator ?
 2.
The guy at Eden customer support said,"I'd go with the 2x10xst at 8 Ohms, it has slightly more bottom than the xlt and will complement the 4x10 perfectly.
That's a combination that has been mentioned alot over on Talkbass . A popular one by all accounts . I was going to go down this route , but ended up with a 610 instead . As stated , make it a 8ohm 210 with the 4ohm 410 , and all the speakers will be pumping out the same .
 3.
It may only be roots and fifths but it's ALL about the groove. Get it right and you'll be dancing on the stage. It aint as easy as you think
+1 I did around 6 years on and off from around 17 yrs old , and it was good grounding . It's pretty much all feel (as I found it) , especially the Western swing , or maybe the Outlaw stuff (Waylon Jennings etc) . If it's Country and Irish , it's unlikely to be of the Ricky Scaggs frantic pace . Just enjoy it , as if it's a proper Irish boozer , prepare for a great night . They'll love the band , forgive you for almost anything , and likely to be well hammered by the end . If they've got a switched on drummer , then you're set . Just enjoy it mate , I guarantee it by the 2nd set you'll be in full swing . You will let us know how it went I hope ?

 5. Has anyone heard anything on this yet ? . Given me a chuckle , if nothing else . Who does he honestly think would entertain it ?
 6.
They come highly recommended by Victor Wooten...
Then when he has a gig in Norway , and the airline have lost them , he has to do the gig with a Marcus Miller scrunchie
 7. I'm surprised this has lasted the day . Great price - don't really need it , or I would . Free bump .
 8. For me , it's Status Stealth Vigier Passion greenburst that was on Ebay last year (got to track down the seller) Markbass synth pedal As per usual , this is all down to funds
 9. A Stealth , is around 7lbs I believe . On my list - just need the 2K though . A popular upgrade is from the 2 band to the S2 3 band circuit . Worth a look , but beware - major GAS (I've been down there twice) . It's like Mecca to a lot on here .
 10.
Essex virgins
Bit optimistic , don't you think . Is this a classic oxymoron ?
 11.
While this thread is still getting a huge audience, can I mention my mint vintage sunburst '62 P is up for sale. A beauty or what?
I need to see the neck pocket first , or I'm just taking your word for it .
 12. My word , there's a lot of folk reading this .
 13.
Also a nice surprise playing Dave C's Vigier - a real balance of tone and volume across and up the neck.
Well you should have played it at the East Anglian bash a few months ago , though I did hog it a bit Which one did you try of Dave's , his older brown one or the new blue ? They're both great , aren't they . Couldn't make it , but sounded great . Hopefully be at the next local one . Paul .
 14.
Have to say that I was annoyed by the reference/picture of the "Aria Pro II". The blurb referred to John Taylor and Cliff Burton as noted players - fine. But both these guys played an Aria Pro II SB and this was not the bass pictured. This information is so well-known in the bass domain that it just smacks of plain laziness to not have it presented fully and correctly. Rant over.
It certainly makes you wonder if they have a clue , doesn't it . That and the Precision being modelled on the Strat
 15. I'm not normally a fan of this type of music . But I like this alot .
 16.
Queens of the Stone age and Chris Connell's offering (2005)...??? the term garage band was invented for them as they should still be locked in the garage..on the basis of their TV performance..and never let out
Perhaps with the engine running ?
 17.
Tony Levin is in his 60's.
Bloody hell , is he ?
 18.
I hit 40 this year.... and the daughters will ALWAYS be more interesting than their Mums...
42 this year , and I think you're wrong there mate .
 19.
Its a Series 1 or a later model Energy.
Yeah , I think it's one of the later Series 1's that were wooden . The Energy's , I think had the more rounded horns - much the same as the Stealth1 . As stated , Statii Form is the place .
 20. Just sort of confirms what I already knew of my feeble level in musicianship .
 21. F**k a duck . This is an absolute steal . Doubt this'll last long .
 22. Look at the SFX web page . I bought the Micro Fuzz and it's great . Just added a Micro EQ after it , and it just enhances it even more . Also Max does the Micro Distortion . That's my next purchase . Great guy to deal with , home grown pedals and top notch quality - says it all .
 23.
Can the pedal in the loop only be used when the GR is switched on, or can it be turned on any time?
That's what I'd like to know also . As I know the GR2 can , but Phil , is this the GR2 or a GR transitional . Cause the GR2's at Bass Direct have GR2 written on them , the last knob to the right is different , and they have a wet/dry blend .
 24. Off topic - slightly But some Amps have their controls around in a manner that seems 'wrong' to me . ie Aguilar . Treble , Mid then Bass , when virtually every other manufacturer starts with Bass onto Treble - left to right .
