1. Superb little cabs and had I not just bought a 2nd one (at a higher price than yours), I'd have been on this!
2. LOL I forgot that you had her back!
3. Looks lush, shame you aren't local to give it a try!
4. I've had a couple of loopers and the standard TC Ditto is the easiest and best by far.
5. 8lb is very light for any Jazz sized/shaped bass (even downsized as this), I tried about 6 DJs as I was told they were light and I never found one under 9lb... nice basses mind.
6. £770... inc delivery from Russia.
7. I have the very same bass... wouldn't be brave enough to do that! What was the deciding factor for pup placement and did you know what was under the top in that location before you started routing (what is it that gives it that 'resonator' sound)?
8. Make it even thinner by making your slab into two 'wings' to attach to a neck-thru construction. I've got an early 'W' Streamer that is less than 30mm... at the thickest point.
9. I've gone middle ground... Thunderfunk amp and a pair of TC RS210 cabs. The cabs are non-neo yet small/light enough; stacked vertically they have a great throw and are at ear level.
10.
Yes , but if a strange one They are in 5 string size , but are cut for a four string with 19mm string spacing They fit my manson perfectly
You can clearly see they have pole-pieces for a 4 string but the casing size is the EMG 5 string size. Had they been a straight drop in I'd have had them.
11. I was about to PM you and have these till I realised that the 102mm EMG40 is 5 string spacing; the 35 is 4 string and 89mm.
12. Is this slab fronted or is there a forearm contour?
13. I have exactly the same pair of basses and I have nickel flats on both, nice punchy tone BUT the Godin can have a bit of low end 'bloom' on sustained low notes.
14. Just bought a TC RS210 cab (poss a 2nd incoming) and I have to say it has blown me away... quite literally! A pair stacked vertically will win the laws of physics competition but more importantly the drivers are at the same height as an old fashioned stack. You know where I am if you want to give a blast and in the process save your back and knuckles.
15. Bought Gerry's TC RS210 and the deal was as smooth as you like. I paid with direct bank transfer and no issues about trust. Cheers.
16. Resurrection or what! Aria Sinsonido is the lightest full scale bass and the 'frame' makes it really comfortable.
17. What are the shipping costs from Italy and how do you accept payments?
18. Can you zap me info/pics of the in-ear headphones you pop into your ER molds? Cheers
19. That particular bass had a very tight, punchy tone much of it down to the density of the body timbers and though it's hard to quantify (no recorded evidence), the bass did sound a nadge brighter/tighter after the high polish finish, though I'd imagine only me and Dave Wilson (who refinished it and had this bass on loan for a few years) would have been able to tell.
20.
21. An old pic of mine. Showing the neck reveal. The bass was originally natural wax and refinished 15 years (or poss more) ago. The neck is fully sealed/lacquered but not solid black like the rest of the bass. You'd not know it wasn't a factory finish (really that good) other than factory finished basses don't have that neck reveal, they are solid black as it is an easier/cheaper job.
22. I forgot about that as well... more visible than that.
23.
I hate it when I can't figure something out...
Don't look for anything personal to me, just look at the rear of the bass in general.
24. The first Stage II that I ever owned, now for sale at Bass Direct. How can I be sure... take a look at the rear of the bass. http://www.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_specialists/Warwick_Streamer_Stage_II_4_Black.html
