1.
Too many sprouts over the festive period?
2. Almost gassing myself. We don't want 12 string soundclips on this thread now. Do we ..?
3. Tbh, most of them didn't light my fire.
4. Aguilar . Not too big, but great valvey type sound. They look cool as he'll too ! Btw; are your rehearsals/gigs too loud for practice/punters? Just a thought:)
5. Love the colour too! Just wondering; does it stay in tune for the whole gig?
6. Just saw a big selection if large words in blue type. That was enough not to proceed. My eyes are ruined. Why is he shouting?
7. If you had 2 basses, I would say tune one in standard tuning, and the other alternate. If both basses were identical, that would be the way to go imho
8. Interesting. What bass have you got ? Is it time for a 5string ?
9. Looks like this time next year, folk on here will be reviewing their new Xmas present.
10. Slightly confused here. Do Gibson run the synapse range of basses? Think I'll be keeping my xm3. At the moment it's tuned bead.apparently the neck is fine for this. In the meantime , have a hamburger bump
11. Brilliant !
12. Merry Christmas . Kaossilator, garageband, moog, alchemy, tune in radio, nano studio. Angry birds& a few pinball games. You may get discounts because of the holiday period loads more , but I'll leave that to the rest of the basschatters
13. Merry Christmas one and all !
14. Glad common sense prevailed;)
15. Pm regarding the sonuus
16. I know that there are one or two you pube clips. Why not have some more on here , or a seperate thread for 8/10/12 string so more people can see and of course hear them?
17. He is a legend . Sorry about the Free quote earlier. As already mentioned, he has gone through an awful lot, and I do hope that things improve for him.
18. It's about time these battery compartments were sorted out! I hate the fiddlly crappy things! I feel your pain. Have a bump. (And maybe a napkin)
19.
Here's the new girl trying not to upstage anyone of course...
Wow!
20. Just to put the boot in ; you could let the manufacturers of the amp know the final exchange you had with shop.plus you could send Link to this thread to the manager of the shop. I hate bad customer service.
21. They're good for metal . Mine sounds like a mandolin
22. He's not even boiling the strings
23. Good thread this, which will probably run for ages. A friend of mine recently purchased a turntable, and he has started buying vinyl that has been reissued the expensive way.i think his aim is to buy 'classic' albums like Floyd , nirvana etc. I'm not sure I would do this. I have turntable with some old vinyl already. I've bought music in every version possible (except 8 track/gramophone ). So, I'll stick to the various versions which I already have.when buying vinyl years ago, it was imperative to buy the original pressings. (Ie united artists and not the emi fame repress) albums that stood out years ago (and sill do); tubular bells/sabbath vol4/UFO obsessions/ Floyd / hawkwind levitation/do re mi/queensryche rage for order. The 80s were full of over produced drums . Not all bad, but you can tell the stuff that didn't bode well. Now I wanna reclaim my overkill on green vinyl.
