1. Is the boss fs 6 the way to go ?
2. Have you thought about the amplification you are using ?
3. He played a few basses, not just precision s . How much are they worth ?
4. Headless basses are probably not suitable for these purposes;)
5. I've always been wary of posting basses(well it'd be courier). I wouldn't want the receiver giving me abuse about it not being what they wanted etc. On the other side of the coin, I had two basses I won on eBay sent perfectly from Germany
6.
I have basically everything they have done. Black album/ reload/ garage days/ st anger don't get played now, and haven't for years. Reload is probably the worst thing they have ever released.less than a handful of songsnonnthere worth mentioning. Load is a masterpiece in comparison. St .anger is not too bad apart from the pots and pans lars used on it instead of drums. Justice is and always was gonna be a great album , despite the absent bass on it. I do like the fact that altho' they have been mainstream for years , they still. Play the heaviest stuff from their first 2 albums. It may not sound so good live now, but other bands in their position would have played more softer balladry stuff instead. Good to see them get as big as they are,,despite lars being a total tw@t. Lets face it, back in the '80s MTV and the like we're trying to convince us that con jovi/lepper and Europe was heavy metal. Metallica were too big to be ignored. I don't like the "metallica Family' that James says at gigs tho '
Btw the 598ep is awesome, and I must dig that out again.

8. Buyers market at the moment imho. Effects seem to sell ok , but amps and basses are hardly moving. I have (and hadpreviously) premium basses and cheapsoundbar basses which are not shifting. Not desperate to sell-yet, but things are s-l-o-w. Times are hard, and have been for the last 5+years.
9. Thanks for that. Which foot controller would I need ? What are the advantages ?
10. There was me thinking of Alice ...
11. I was there . Johnny rod never played anything till the last 2songs. His lead. Wasn't working properly.or was he just crap?
12. Have the boss rc2, and am getting my finger out and using it again after gathering huge amounts of dust. I have offloaded pedals and effects unit and decided to get boss old half rack effects instead . Regarding the looper; is there a rack mount looper that doesn't cost the earth? If so , what? Heard of the lexicon jam man which is long discontinued. Any ideas? Cheers
13. I've been on it a few months(should do more). Icons a lot of bands who have a product out there 'like' my recordings so I 'like ' them and more recognition for them, I've had a few plays here and there , but not much in the scheme of things. I'm still learning , so 99% is pretty pony anyway
14. If its one made with basswood, then it would be cheaper from what I gather. Other than that , haven't a clue
15. Like a lot of other bands, the hunger goes and things are more cliched I guess. Always been a fan. Saw them every tour from lightning onwards. I think death magnetic is the nearest theyb are gonna get like the old stuff. Having said that, hate train is the only good track off the ep IMHO . They are the biggest metal band of all time I would say.now they are Metallica the brand. Will still go and see them indoors ,but I've seen it all before. Trouble with metal now (and most here's o music)is formula..tattoos/attitude/lnothing original. Apart from rammstein(who surely have the best stage show ever), I can't be bothered anymore . Live that is. Will still checkout slayer and anthrax, but I've been there before.
16. Ghastly , unless you're a pimp. I think another basschatter did a similar job but better.maybe it's the ox blood colour
17. If someone bought my Telebass , I would have had this. . Have a headless bump
18. When I did a lot of my early gigs , I was playing mainly root notes only. This worked for quite some time . Eventually, what I found was the more bands I joined(or applied for), the more they wanted. Fashon in the 80s had something to do with that as well IMHO ( flea, clay pool , Hamm) Even in songs with keyboards in , I was expected to know them. Having said that, the more we play, the more we get involved
