I've got 2 wall hangers . Only put them up if you are prepared to drill deep into the wall. Nothing else will do. In this case, I would say don't do it , keep landlord happy and sell it to someone on here

Interesting point about surge protection. I always thought of it as a safeguard /prevention etc. I have a good quality 4 way, but when you want the same model with 8 sockets it is not available .

Thanks for the input. Ok, at present I have; Computer-studio monitors (2plugs)- mixer -amp- effects unit- power line adapter- and will be getting another effects unit later this year. 2 of these items have chunky transformer plugs. More comments appreciated;)

We can never have enough sockets for our electric gadgets. I intend to buy the above sometime before the weekend. Obviously, power surge protected. I also want something that fits chunky transformers . Looked on the usual sites, but am undecided. What do you use, or recommend? Cheers

What tuning do you use? Something annoying happened last week..I snapped the d string while tuning it! Don't know why this happened. I have a spare somewhere , which will be fitted this week. In the meantime I'm looking for the best tuning( including the thin octave strings). Especially if it's good for metal;) Cheers

That looks painful. Yeah, take it to a tech . I had the same type of accident with my Washburn status. Lucky for me, it was only the jack affected. I feel your pain

Saw jean michel jarre play one a few years back. Imho, they can sound good with minimal use (5mins max). If I bought one, 10 mins later, I would instantly regret it, and it would be sold. I would feel great sorrow from all the cats and dogs in the vicinity of those who frequently use them.

Thanks again. Quit podfarm and it still plays up. in the past, i have recorded without any problems. i even reinstalled everything on my mac mini a couple of weeks ago. oh well....

Mr.Ambient. Thanks for your quick response. Please could you explain how to freeze. ? What I am doing is, laying down a drumloop on 1 track. Then play that back and record bass on another track etc. The fun starts as soon as i start playing a bassline cheers

whenever I try to put a few ideas together, the playback stops. A message appears,'this project has too many tracks etc.'Then mentions optimizing.. The thing is, I only use one track at a time. on this occasion, i am using loops from ezdrummer and a simple bassline. please help thank you
