  1. Definitely! I've had a great deal of fun with it already, using my flyrig through the MB200 for experimenting with its range and tone.
  2. I booked back in the early bird days for a session fronted by Jerry Barnes from Chic - not happening now, so I hope I can use my ticket to get into one of the other sessions.
  3. Yes, I spent a fruitless hour yesterday exploring the website for one. No luck! 😒
  4. I'm going along on Saturday - I shall be well ear-pluggedc against random shredders! I'll report back - maybe even live-blog here!
  5. Machine Gun Kelly? Or the Killers? 😉
  6. I've never worked out how Adrian can keep producing these lovely basses at such reasonable prices, especially as he's bassed in Germany. Good luck with your sale - I'm sure it won't be here long.
  7. That is either the most gorgeous or most horrible-looking top - I simply cannot decide! GLWTS!
  8. Are you sure? I have that as Magdalen Bridge in Oxford! Please don't send me all over the country out of pure nosiness! Ah, just seen Saltings Roundabout!
  9. ///kick.pelt.stops = (apparently) about a hundred yards offshore at Shoreham by Sea - I hope you're keeping the bass nice and dry!
  10. Of course, this is a lovely bass, but Jeannie's closed down last year, when the owner died. GLWTS anyway!
  11. A phrase my editor taught me when writing TV scripts back in the day - very useful, but no less hurtful to do. GLWTS.
  12. Damn! If this had been around a few weeks ago, I'd have been all over it like a rash. I ended up getting an Ashdown OR-110 for my GK MB200, but this would have been even better. I remember seeing their ads at the back of Bass Player, but they completely slipped my mind when I actually needed one. Good luck with your sale!
  13. All the love on this thread - entirely deserved by @briansbrew and @AndyTravis of course - but for the Bongo? I love them, they have such a rich and distinctive tone. And I'm sad I had to get rid of mine because of back problems and a decision to stick to short scales, but I remember about 18 months ago on this site there was a long thread where everyone was amusing themselves at the idea of "toilet seat" basses. The worm has turned!
  14. I understand your reluctance, but - so far - everything's working well! I doubt whether I'll be that lucky again - but no harm in looking!
  15. Yes, I saw that, but I m pushing enough air between my legs as it is!
