  1. @Frank Blank @Richard R I'm happy to organise a raffle - donors, please PM me to discuss/arrange prizes.
  2. It's quite a plaice, Salmon Dave played there once aprawn a time.
  3. Pretty big, @NickA Plenty of room for a double bass and even a dolphin!
  4. That's in great nick! Just out of interest, how old is it? GLWTS.
  5. Morning, Richard - yes, I'll definitely be bringing it. By then, I should have managed to explore the majority of the tonal options on the pre-amp! I think we're still the only ones who've added to that thread - might be worth giving some sort of a reminder or explainer. I'll have a look later.
  6. I'm amazed you've got any basses left to play with after all the selling you did last year! (Some amazing machines, too!)
  7. I sometimes offer stuff on FB and/or eBay as well as here, but always cheaper on BC.
  8. I don't know about Ed's situation, but the Music Inn in Nottingham deserves support - it's a mother and son family business and they've been a great help to me over the years - and not that far from Derby.
  9. I think cost of living is more likely, frankly, though a good old declutter is never a bad thing!
  10. Real bargain! GLWTS.
  11. The nicest Fodera I've seen.
  12. Does raising the mute have any impact on tuning, Skin? Lovely bass, by the way. Can't imagine this will be here long.
  13. Extra bump - this shouldn't still be here.
  14. Looking at their latest newsletter, they're no longer saying the new website will be up and running by the end of January - I can't say I'm surprised, must be a helluva task to spell everything correctly!
  15. I've now found a suitable protective case for my Veyron- someone here mentioned Peli cases, and they certainly look fantastic, but also very expensive: more than the amp. I found this one on Amazon - £66 and you can literally "pluck" the foam out to fit round your cherished asset. There's also a pressure valve, which is designed to keep it waterproof (I'm not planning to test that feature!). Anyway, seems like a cost-effective solution, though there's no room in the size I chose for cables, etc.
  16. Well done, Richard! @Richard R : Brawley 4 and 5 string, EBS session 60 amp, cheap Aeon sustainer, cake @petecarlton: Shuker Nuclear Device Jean-Jacques Burnel Signature Lite P-bass, Mayones Cali 4 Triskelion travel bass, Bugera Veryron BV 1001M Mosfet head, Ashdown Studio 210 combo, bits and pieces - and cake
  17. Bargain for someone! GLWTS.
  18. I adore this - thank you so much for the tab. I agree with you that it's certainly one of the greatest walking bass lines (given the composer, why wouldn't it be?!) By the way, your "Buy me a coffee" link is dead - comes up with a 404.
  19. Mammoth task, but I'm sure loads of us will be very grateful for your efforts.
