To replace a faulty one in a Big Muff pi (Russian made). Dpdt, latching.
I'm sure they're much of a muchness, but if any brand/source stands out, please let us know, cheers!

what's the cab setup at rehearsal? Is it higher off the ground so it's exciting the body of the bass more?
I found a notch filter as used on acoustic guitar preamps killed the feedback on my mate's problematic Hofner Verithin Bass without affecting the overall tone.
My drummer had (hand) surgery and was is off playing and even driving for at least 8 weeks. Still a few to go, and even then there's no guarantee he'll be able to start up where he left off.
I've been keeping myself busy with online collaboration with another mate who is getting back into music, so still playing bass and trying to play drums for him!
I bought a really manky affinity Tele to practice fretwork on. They have a thinner body than normal so are really light weight. My mate loved it so much I had to give it to him. I play on it each time I visit and always surprises me how much i enjoy playing it too!
I swap my watch from my right hand to my left for gigs and recording. Stops the bass getting scratched there, and stops the ticks getting picked up on recordings!
The radius of the body edges. Where the top meets the sides. The older ones have a larger radius edge making the bit where your forearm rests less sharp.
I wish they still made their basses and guitars with this softer body radius, it makes a more comfortable wear. It really makes a ton of difference. I tried an early Jr dc guitar in Denmark St years ago from about 61 but the price was stratospheric even then . Absolutely divine though.
kTim Turan at Turan Audio often gets a shout. I used him for our digital single release and everyone seemed to think it sounded good. He's in Oxford. £50 a track, you can sit in on the session if you like too!
