Our studio has sent us a note giving us the first phase of a 3 part plan for opening which includes:
Only one band per studio per night
Specific numbers per studio dependent upon size.
Kit will be placed so that the 2m rule can be applied
Staff will be cleaning each studio after the nights session
Mike clips and drum parts will be left on
Bands to use their own microphones and leads
Further info to follow.
Deoxit - another product highly regarded in the world of hi-fi.
It is also useful, as are any of the products mentioned, for keeping speaker and instrument plugs and sockets clean.
Nice strap. I am coming to the same conclusion regarding standard straps on a Hofner (I have a Hofner Club) so will be looking for a traditional strap myself soon.
Try Newtone strings which are available in Stainless or Nickel, round or hex core and virtually any gauge you want. You can even have two types of winding by going for either the Diamond or Platinum options.
They have the extra benefit of being made in the UK.
Hmm think I remember someone putting a post on the topic of Joyo pedals in this forum not long back. so I hope that helps date wise😂
Or maybe it was due to the discount code being posted in the forum on the 18th April🤔
Speaker break in has been carried out by many in the hi-fi fraternity for a long time. As suggested above play some music through it overnight just to free up the cone and suspension mechanism.
Thank you Basschat firstly for being here, for providing discussion, interest and topical debate which in turn has led to me 'talking' to, and meeting, a bunch of friendly and helpful people.👍
From what I have read the PJB is more hi-fi like which would be down to the control of the cone in a small speaker. I bigger unit like a 10" or 12" should offer a deeper sound in theory.
I am currently using a Vox practice amp fitted with 2 x 5" speakers and it is fine but not exactly bassy.
I thought the programme was well put together and enjoyed the extra detail provided regarding the early days. Bruce Welch came over very well with good humour thrown in.
Even the wife enjoyed it😮
Liza is definitely a fave in our household. At times the mix is electic but that's what adds to her appeal plus she has a sense of humour that has clearly been inherited from her dad.
Did not the Japanese copy various bits of British products i.e. Motorbikes, hi-fi etc and actually produce an improved copy or end up buying the manufacturer.
