1. For sale and in good condition is my DBX DDP Digital Dynamics Processor - multi effects such as compression limiting, delay, gate, de-esser etc.
2. BSS DPR944 Opal Compressor - used but in good condition. I knob missing but controls function fine.
3. NOW SOLD 3 x JBL 12" plus horn wedge monitors. 300 watt @ 4 ohm rating. Robust build in good condition. Looking for £25 each - £75 for them all.
4. SOLD 20 fret fingerboard with dot position markers, mahogany back and sides, spruce top with black scratch plate. I bought it new in 1987! As with any instrument this age there's a couple of small knocks the largest being on the headstock. Good condition otherwise.
5. Here are a couple of Turbosound TXD-115 PA subs. used and in good condition with the usual paint scrapes. Each sub is 1 x 15" 300w RMS with 600w program power handling at 8 ohm. I was using them as my main PA subs but have changed to Nexo's so these are now just taking up space. They come with the covers. Dimensions are 652mm x 465mm x 423mm (25.7" x 18.3" x 16.7") and 55 lbs each. The cabs have a built in crossover of 12dB / octave low pass at 150Hz. In the manual it says "The TXD-115 includes an internal low-pass crossover network which filters high frequency signals from the bass driver when used in conjunction with two-way enclosures enabling a full range system to be powered from a single amplifier channel without the need for external electronic crossovers." I'm looking for [s]£330[/s] £300 including UK shipping.
6. Just received a Mayones Jabba in excellent condition from Mikko. As others have said - great guy to deal with, constant communication, the deal was easy. Many thanks Mikko
7. Just did a great deal with Luke for a Shuker bass. Good comms, everything went well. Would definitely deal with Luke again. Bass is in excellent condition. Thanks Luke.
8.
That is a brilliant idea... how much are those?
Not sure on pricing as they were supplied by the company when I worked in the States. I'm sure a Google search will show up a UK equivalent. (Maybe I should have done this BEFORE I shipped a bass off today....eek!)
9.
We considered putting both 'glass - fragile' and 'biohazard' stickers on our cabs so they'd be treated with care/fear! Unfortunately the risk of customs clearance issues precluded that...
I've used the following "ShockWatch" stickers on equipment I've sent with work. Doesn't stop the stuff being thrown about but you can check whether its been dropped before opening the package. 10. Sold a multicore snake to Andrew. Quick payment and good comms. Well recommended. Mike

14. I cant seem to access or see the photos in the link?
15. I like it. Her "Tell me something good" vocals sound a bit like Macy Gray
16.
Hmm, bit of a gap between me and the next person - no other helpful BCers in Scotland?
I'm further south than you (7 miles!!) so hopefully that fills the gap a little. I've done bass set-ups, pickup and preamp changes, wiring repairs and changes such as adding coil split switching, shielding, battery box routing (eek!) etc. I will try and help fellow chatters where I can.
17. If the serial number is 7426 then its the same bass that's in my avatar! ;-)
18. Yip, it really is that simple When I realised it, there was a resounding clunk that could be heard for miles around....lol. I can now see the mode "patterns" on the fretboard which also allow me to work out the other possible song chords!
19. I’ve read your post and had a look at the manuals for your gear to find out what they do and how they operate. I have a couple of questions to start with: What sort of settings did you have your bass and amp eq’s set at? Have you tried your bass straight into the amps active input, without the compressor in the effects loop? How did it sound? Have you tried your bass straight into the amps active input, with the compressor in the effects loop but with the bypass switch enabled? How did it sound? 20. Korg GA Custom Chromatic Tuner - £29. Strobe tuner, great for low B etc and has many, many, pretty moving lights...oooh!
21. Yes, Mono are comfy straps for me :-)
22. There's relicing and roadworn and then there's that strat!!! Love the idea, would hate to own one though.
23.
If you have a sax player you could always do "Pick Up The Pieces" as the "Above Average Weight Band"!
....or should it be "Pick Up The Pizzas"?
