1. This bass has provoked some completely un-warranted GAS in me. I can't stop looking at the pics!!! Thanks goodness I'm too skint to buy it Good luck Jack and can I just ask - Are you sure about off-loading this one? It must be one hell of an instrument you're after! Regards, Jon
2. Lovely amp & wish I had the dough to buy it off you! Good luck with your sale.
3. Find OBBM on here as he is a cable Guru & manufacturer Link: http://www.bassic-bits.co.uk/
4. Providing the PA you use is up to amplifying the bass up to gig levels without farting out then go for it! I highly recommend the MXR M80 by way. Regards, Jon
5. Thanks Musky and nicely laid out. Regards, Jon
6. I would replace like for like.
7. Great gig diary there Clarky and sounds like a great time you had out there!
8. I would recommend The Gallery in Camden.
9. I was born in 1976. Not a great time/period for Fender but I went onto G Base and typed in 1976 bass... In amongst the lists was this below. Sold!
10. Mr. Brownstone by Guns N Roses. It's a cracker, check it out!
11.
For that sort of money, you're in the realms of Beyer DT100s... (or the variations thereof) perhaps not the most inspired choice, but a studio standard for a reason! (and you can get all the parts!)
Another +1 from me on these or the DT150s.
12. Just seen that from April 1st the scheme is only open to 18 to 25 year olds. All to do with cut backs so it looks like now is the time if you were thinking about it! 13.
THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A SITE FOR BASS ENTHUSIASTS, EXPENSIVE BASSES, CHEAP BASSES, WHATEVER , ALL I CAN SEE IS GUYS LOOKING AT PICS AND MAKING COMMENTS ONE WAY OR ANOTHER ABOUT SLAPPING, ITS A WASTE OF TIM AND HIS ROTOSOUND STAND AS FAR AS I CAN SEE. IS THERE REALLY ANY POINT IN LEARNING TO READ?????? CHEERS CLARKY
Wanna buy a caps lock key Mate?
14. Hi There, These have now sold, but thanks for looking! The best of the best IMO for critical near field monitoring.... They sold for £500 btw, but not through BC :-(
15.
...To me it shows just how much I need a Wal, especially as we are now doing 10+ Tool covers
Oh dear a Wal GAS attack, I feel sorry for you! Better talk to Cetera then about his lovely Mk. 1 up FS...
16. Just cleared out all the old pics I don'r need on here any more
17. I thought to do this properly you need one of these? - http://www.radialeng.com/re-prormp.htm
18. I now regret selling my old Tacoma Thunderchief acoustic bass. Didn't play it that much but the sentimental value was massive. The killer is that it's back up for sale and I just don't have the money or credit to buy it back
19. Flippin' eck! I fancy a career change...
20. So subjective I know... But for me - I would say drums up a bit, Bass EQ'd to punch though a bit more in the mids, Vox down a bit and the Reverb on the Guitar solo backed off if possible. Just my 2 Pence worth! Nice recording though WHUFC Regards, Jon
21.
...Praying it doesn't turn into an aural holocaust of slappers on every stand....
22. Metallica - Seek & Destroy and Creeping Death. Get in!
23. Cetera that is a seriously nice looking and GAS inducing Wal you have there! I never paid much attention to Wal's until I was lent a Mk.1 to do some recording with many moons ago Have a BUMP for a bass I wish I could afford. Regards, Jon
24. Love it Clarky. Well done Mate, that's a beauty. I'm blown away that you've managed to replicate the CS P Pro in this fashion. Would love to try it out
