1. Check out the NAMM show.... PRS have just released one....... Mmmmmmmmmmmmm!
2. Sounds VERY plausible, in fact sounds a damn good idea. I might go for the filled and painted headstock as opposed to veneered but give it a go...!
3. Adam= Nice trustworthy bloke! A1
4. Theres really not a lot between them. They are both excellent VFM, they will both be easy to set to play well. They will both have budget Jap ideology of wiring (sometimes odd set ups) but like all things Jap they will work. Its goingt to come down to which one YOU prefer to play. That having been said the 414/614 suggested will be closest to what yoru used to with the P.
5. Odd one that, I've not seen one before either. Wil have to do some research on that one... As you say LOOKS OK!
6. Ahhhhh but BOB might be pretty cool , or just stupid. I'm not sure yet!

8.
Bob, are MB that good.....?
Sad to say, Yep. I adore (and so does my so pernickerty guitarist) the tone..... its just right! ('specially for blues!) Dear I know, but I'll cahllnge you to find anyone that says they're not ace. There'll be a few that slag 'em off for being expensive, but tonally I love 'em.
9. I was going mention strings..... Some individual basses respond very well to playing around with strings, gauges as well as makes and coverings..... try some more befor eyou give up, the ones that are on it may just not suit it!

I just don't know....hmmm
OHM, how 'bout I leave it here to pick up some ideas them move it to Laying to see if you pick up more.... Win win eh?
16. Looks nice enough wood to pimp like mine.....! http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=4324&hl=teaser
17. turns out I can help a wee bit.... 1. I believe its not a cruise bass, I think you'll find its a Chaparral. Cruise was bolt on and 2 xJ pups. Chaparral was P/J- set in neck as you describe.... 2. This is no bad thing as its worth a bit more. 3 Blue book says Between $850 for a minter and $450 for a knacker..... 4. as that roughly equates $=£ you work out its condition and price it accordingly.... 5. Would be best to work out exactly what it is first as you may want to keep it....
18. Bod, moved it to the wrong forum..... Can you move it to for sale please? bob.
19. Folks, value for this chap....?
20. Interesting thread but should be in General bass disscussion.
21. Swap agreed, just waiting for it to happen!
22. The more I look at it the more I think its just a gimmick..... Will it change the face of bass playing as we know it.... I think not.
23. sounds like good advce to me.... nice one!
