First of all, I am sorry for those who were not able to take advantage of my 'Big Sale'. I know it was odd but I was going under because of over stock which was just not selling. I bought extensively when FJ announced their 15% price increases but no-one wanted what I had despite their being the the best sellers over the previous year. I was fortunate that another dealer bought my entire stock other than those that Basschatters managed to buy in time. This has solved my cash flow problem so I will continue to trade but will probably be altering my model slightly which will involve a famous West London retail outlet some more. Because of the loyalty that I have experienced from this forum, I will offer substantial discounts over the next month - these will be individually based because of the current financial climate; but they will be worth having. When I have established a sustainainable price list, I will offer Basschatters an ongoing discount. I thank you again for your continued support and hope I can continue to provide the same. Malcolm

I wonder if I could poll some views? I have a customer who states that the 62 reissue Fender P-bass with US pickups does not deliver the 'growl' that he expected from a Precision. I sounded fine to us, does anyone out there have any views?
