1. Impressive. Thanks for sharing
2. Having another "maybe I could get a credit card" moments. Didn't think I'd see this back up for sale so soon, you seemed smitten with it! GLWTS
3. so far the only single cut designs I've liked have been Alpher instruments but there's something about that Ibanez I quite like. Not sure why though as I don't like the standard BTB's.
4. Jazzbassfreak is looking for one of these. Maybe worth giving him a message!
5. Had this a few months ago when trying to trade a thumb bass. Guy messaged me offering me a trade for a bass (not saying which as that'd be practically naming and shaming), I agreed. He then said he'd message me in a week as he was busy. Two weeks went by so I messaged him and got the reply which was along the lines of 'Changed my mind.'
6. I feel all funny inside looking at those pictures.
7. All I can really say on this subject is that I played an ACG and 2 weeks later I had my deposit on a custom build.
8. Isn't that about the standard price of them? I had one a while back and paid £130 for it (£5 cheaper than this would cost me!) Definitely worth the dosh though!
9. Would you believe me if I said I was admiring this on Alan's website this morning? weird eh! Good luck with the sale
10.
Age.
Best drummer I've played with was 20. Ages of drummers I've played with range from about 16 (16 year old was damn good as well actually) up to around 50 odds (I didn't ask!).
11. I'm another one for the 'clearer sound at higher volumes' reasoning.
12. Times like this I wish I wasn't poor. GLWTS
13. I just came over all funny...
14. If I can figure out travel I shall be there (thought this was next week so less time to figure it out than I thought!)
15. I would likely consider it on my corvette depending on pricing obviously
16.
maybe nobody had a wide-angle lens
Damn. Got there before me.
17. Don't know if I like your basses or quality of photos more Kev!
18. First I turn up late. Then I tune up on stage (by ear obviously) then have a chat to the drummer about the setlist. All whilst obnoxiously drunk.
19. I know that I get an e-mail whenever I get a PM but only for the first message and not any of the subsequent ones. I do think it is something you can turn on/off in the settings (as Rob said)
20. Personally I'd say if you prefer the dolphin, hold out for that.
21. Oh God I want this.
22. This explains your cryptic message! Looks lovely. not jealous at all...honest.
23. This explains your cryptic message! Looks lovely. not jealous at all...honest.
24. As I said on your status thing the other day, I'm in the same boat as you, tonally it's an amazing bass but the weight is definitely a factor to consider when buying this!
25. I had an ODB-3 too and that was my impression of it. Got a B3K and (opinion alert) it's a totally different league from the Boss. As far as I'm aware Nolly uses the Axe Fx for his distortion and the B7K as a preamp. If you're near Motherwell/Glasgow you're welcome to try my B3K out
