1.
It' s just banter.
This. I find it hilarious.
2. This can be very frustrating for the musicians. However, I have found that these people are often enjoying the music, albeit more passively than we would prefer. So on the positive side, where the band isn't the main draw, we can still feel comfortable that we are doing our job - keeping people in the bar, buying beer.
3. I would say that being able to wing it if the situation calls for it is a strength. Not so if that's someone's normal MO, though.
4. For me, any issues that can't be resolved as part of a normal rehearsal start to ring alarm bells. (I'm assuming here that these are interpersonal type issues, and you're not planning a new project together). Putting the girlfriend matter to one side, do you think that this meeting scenario is something that you would expect everyone to leave feeling 100% happy?
5. Tony just bought my SWR Amp. Great guy. Also let me have a go on his bass - that's given me something to think about! Hope you enjoy the amp Tony. Cheers.
6. Seems a lot. I didn't go to see RHCP in December for this reason. However, it's no more expensive than decent tickets for a West End show.
7. Thanks. Probably best that I get a grown up to do it for me.
8. I make no apologies if this is a stupid question as I know virtually nothing about electronics: Before I get to work on my Studio 220, is this something that anyone could do, or are any tools required?
9. If a punter tries to talk to you mid-song, lick their face.

11.
I can't thank you enough for this!
+1
12. He's rather good isn't he. What album(s) would you recommend?
13. I remember this place, and also had the t-shirt! I recall also having another one that said 'Bass Players Do It Deeper'. There were quite a few good music shops in that area at the time. Those were the days etc.
14. Either Burn or Highway Star for me.
15. When I first started playing we could get a four piece band and all our gear in a Fiesta. Wasn't comfy, though. I loved my C-Max, and could get my gear and a full drum kit in the back with the seats down. My Allegro estate was also awesome.
16. Just bought a TC Cab from Pat. Great guy, and a pleasure to deal with. Many thanks Pat
17. I also noticed that bit of unfortunate editing! I personally get round this problem by always playing really badly. This ensures that I am left alone.
18. Very good, but still prefer the original by Fleur East
19. Will also miss the website and radio station. This seems like bad news for the genre as a whole.
20. Very impressive. I like it. Are you the lovechild of Cliff Burton and Stuart Hamm?
