1. Thanks for the kind words Karl. Price now dropped to £700
2. I recently bought a bass from Karl, and I can't speak highly enough. Helpful and informative throughout, and packing was superb. He even posted off an allen key under separate cover - above & beyond I'd say. I am a very happy boy. Merci beaucoup Karl.
3. Ghost at Koko in Camden. They were awesome. Hail Satan!
4. The Carnival of Madness next Thursday. \m/><\m/
5. How many basses do you have? I follow the words of Master Yoda: "Always two there are, no more, no less. A master and an apprentice".
6. Good to hear that you're on the mend. But what about the Harley...?
7. Mrs Heath's strict 'one in-one out' policy dictates that I need to part with my American Standard Jazz Bass (known as Bill). The bass is in 3 tone sunburst, with a maple fingerboard and S1 switch. It was bought new from the Bass Centre in 2003. It can now be yours for £575 (no trades I’m afraid). As you can see from the pictures the bridge pickup has been replaced with a Fender Deluxe precision pickup. As this was my main bass for some years, it has also picked up some knocks along the way (pictured), however, there is nothing that affects the playability. The original moulded hard case, and original pickup are both included. I would prefer buyer collection if possible (I am based in mid Essex). Alternatively, please can you arrange a courier. Cheers Steve
8. David Lee Roth Skyscraper tour 1988
9. Joe Satriani this Saturday. But looking forward to seeing Ghost in December waaaaay more.

12. I was there - amazing gig from my perspective (on the pitch). Sorry to hear that others' experiences weren't as good.
13. Here's my Thunder Jet, which has just had a 30 year makeover - KiOgon wiring, SPB1 pickup and Babicz bridge.
14. I bought one of these from Tom1946. It's fantastic and is now my main bass. Lovely grain on this one. GLWTS.
15. Once the singer in a band I was in paused between verses to take a drink. I noticed that his glass was considerably fuller when he put it down to continue with the song. A true pro.
16. I like it. Going to struggle to decide what t-shirt to buy at this summer's Foo Fighters gig.
17. Got my ticket! I really enjoy JS live. However, whereas some gigs leave me feeling like I want to watch it all again the next night (Slipknot and Muse spring to mind), I am content to leave seeing other artists for a year or so! Oh, and Mike Kineally is in the band! Last time I saw them together he won their guitar duel in Ice 9 hands down.
18.
Me and a mate saw THUNDER at the O2 London Brooklyn Bowl on 6th November and the bass seemed just right in the mix to my ears, it was a fantastic gig John
I second this - great gig - can't wait for Hammersmith in March. Anyway, as I always say - I don't mind if I'm not heard, just as long as I'm felt.
19. Absolutely. For me their customer service has always been excellent.
20. If he gigs for a living, you can't really complain about him being quick off the mark in getting a replacement. Also, if you had already told him that you needed time off, was there anything else for him to tell? Anyway, all water under the bridge now. I would focus on what to do next. Have fun!
21. Sold an EBS Pedal to Ryan. Couldn't have been easier. Thanks Mate! Steve
22. Bass IQ sold. Price drop on OctaBass
