Thank you! 17.5 mm, as on a Stingray 5! 🙈 Now I've got to check them out!

Hi all, I'm looking to sell my Ibanez EHB1005 in matte black. It's served me very well over the last few years, very lightweight (3.5Kg) and resonant, smooth fast neck and sounds fab in active and passive mode. The figuring on the fingerboard is fabulous on this example! Multi-scale 35 to 33" Adjustable string spacing Comes with original strap locks Ramp is removable Recently had a pro setup Some minor polishing of the matt finish, I've tried to show this in the pics. Otherwise, it's in very good condition and couldn't find a mark on it worth mentioning. Full specs here: https://www.ibanez.com/usa/products/detail/ehb1005ms_1p_02.html I've made a couple of minor modifications, which I believe are pretty common for these basses: - +6dB preamp mod (swapping a plug on the preamp) - Lower strap hole for better positioning on a strap - 'Sadowsky' style knobs - White dot (stickers) fret markers on the side and front - Removed the locking element of the jack output, I can put this back in if desired I've got my eye on something else for sale on here so not interested in trades. Comes with the original EHB gig bag. I'd rather collection, or meet up within an hour or so from Leeds. I've now found a suitable box so I can post within the UK Any questions, send me a DM

That’s one sexy bass, congratulations. Pangborns are as rare as the proverbial rocking horse p… I used the Warlord as inspiration for my custom built Jaydee GA24. -

Andy Rourke 😗👌 It was only relatively recently that I discovered that most of his beautiful, melodic and highly memorable driving bass contributions to The Smiths were performed using regular (and pretty high tension) Rotosound 66s, but tuned up to F#! He made it look easy. Fabulous talent. -

I have owned two of these over the years, I've also owned a single neck 4 string as well. I bought the first double neck way back in the mid 80's, it was an OEM model offered by a guitar deaker who had purchased a quantity of these from the Hondo after they had been discontinued. I modded it by adding a Dimarzio Model One mudbucker just below the neck on the 4 string. I eventually traded it away. I found the 4 string used, it was a great bass, ironically, it felt and sounded like an old P bass, the Hondos are different from the Danelectro Longhorn in that the bodies are solid and the they are long scale (34"). Someone ended up offering me a bunch of money for it, so it went away. I found the second doubleneck on reverb as a project bass, most of the parts were there, but it was in pretty rough shape. I build basses for a living, so I added it my pile of projects that I hope to get done. Recently I had the chance to work on it and everything went together nicely, it has two output jacks, which I believe was wired like Rickenbacker's Ric-O-Sound (the control harness was missing). I need to located the output jack that Rickenbacker uses for this (I think). It is heavy and huge, but the 4 string sound like a Precision and the 8 string sounds thunderous. I haven't gigged with it yet, but hope to soon. Here's a pic of my employee Tyler, holding it. It's bigger then he is. LOl.- 143 replies

I think Saturday is probably better for me. But then again, I don't gig. Does a Sunday draw in folk who have playing commitments most Saturdays?

I just bought the previously mentioned HX Stomp from Paul; I had no qualms based on the glowing feedback here and to be honest could not have asked for a better experience. Great comms, insanely fast delivery and well packed. Thank you Paul! Sam x

This is an interesting perspective. I am learning a lot about the degree of control the luthier has in general, and how much Martin and John have in particular. I'll bear that in mind when I'm trying things out.

I guess I probably am. But I've never tried one of their jazzes. How do you have it set up?

I took on beta testing on a lark when they were soliciting on the PPCB forum, but now I'm all-in on actually building some pedals with them. It actually sounds better than some old mid level rack delays I've owned, maybe even all of them. Just for example, with a little effort you can wire in one of those uber cheap signal generator boards on eBay or Amazon as an LFO, and a dead simple mixer circuit or two, and voila...a very good sounding chorus pedal. Same for expression pedals as controllers, etc. In my case I already have many small DIY mixer and EQ modules on hand, so instead of breadboarding I just hardwired those in various test configurations.

If you mean, I can strap them to the underneath of my boat, to use the extra buoyancy, then yes please! She sits a little low in the water under the weight of my colossal ego. Joking, of course. I don't own a boat.

As above, in great condition. These are fantastic cabs handmade in Italy. Their quality is outstanding. I believe it was over £1400 when new. This is a link to the recently released MK2 version (the cab for sale is a MK1) https://www.atsitaly.it/gb/light-series/56-b410-ed-eg.html The only reason it is for sale is, I really need to raise money for a decent desk for recording. As I’ve also got a BF Super Twin, this one is the logical choice to sell. Would consider trades for a digital desk, something like a Behringer XR18 or Soundcraft etc equivalent with multitrack capability or may consider a standard 16 / 24ch+ desk with multi direct outs. Maybe try me with anything I would have a greater chance of selling on though? I understand that quite expensive cabs can be a niche market and so something that would sell on quicker would be more advantageous to me. Delivery at buyers cost and risk but will be well packaged fot transit. May meet up depending on distance and time. Collection and trial welcomed from Blackburn Lancs.
