I press the little preset changer button with my toe to change presets between songs all the time, works fine - not ideal, but it’s not a problem really

Prior to the pandemic the band I was with had got quite sniffy about how much we felt we should be getting paid for gigs etc. But when lockdown allowed it, me and a few mates put together a classic rock cover band and did some free gigs primarily to help some struggling local venues. Made me realise how much of it is actually about the human contact, not just money.

These have just been pulled from my Trace Elliot V4 although they started life in a friend's SVT 2 a number of years back. They're working fine and have happily done the last six months in the V4 with no bias drifting, internal lightning or blown fuses but I fancied an upgrade so have installed some brand new Linlai KT88s. You can just about make out the SED logo and other prints in the first pic. £100 posted.

The factory was hired, had to be emptied for new tenants next month.

It will be interesting to see whether Fender keeps Leo's workspace intact — or if his tools etc went in the skip, and whether they put the fullerton factory up for sale, keep it as a factory, or turn it into as museum or other public venue.

The gigs are still good, I think the rehearsals with my main group that might end up pushing me out of the game!

I'm selling this Eden EX210 300watt 4 ohm speaker cabinet in good condition. It's not as hifi as the D series but it's very portable and gives you all the clout needed for a lot of gigs. Includes press on castors (never used as it's small and light 20kg) and manual should you want it. Full spec here: https://www.edenamps.com/product/ex210/ Collection from East Finchley London N2, £150.

Don't underestimate my ability to be fast and inaccurate with even a decent handsaw 😊 I'd much rather design a tool to do it properly rather than me cock it up. I know my limits and they are numerous and many.

Just had one of those rehearsals that keep me in the game.

DB5 started following Trace Elliot AH200 in rack case, £60.

Offers welcome for this classic Trace Series 6 AH200 amp head bought recently to replace one that I regret selling. It sounds just as it should BUT with a low buzz in the background. I'm reluctant to spend money on it although I have the service manual to help anyone fixing it. It's been in the rack case for years but may have had a knock before then. Weight 12.3kg in the rack case. I am based in East Finchley London N2 near the M1 and A406 or I can look into couriers, etc.

Good clips, if nothing else, it does tell you to avoid the 3 octave up mode!

I was going to bring my ‘80s Legacy and my S3. Might be interesting to compare? -
I thought Dawsons closed in Dec 2022 after going into administration. Have they re-opened again ?
-
@EmmettC gimme a shout if you do ask Guitar Guitar to get one in and I’ll mooch about and have a go too. I used to have. Super P5 and loved it.

Maybe other offices are different but in the days before I worked from home I didn't spend any more or less money on these things. I had organised my life so that I lived within walking distance of where I worked, I didn't "grab a sandwich or a coffee" on my way to work. I would have breakfast before I left the house, if I needed lunch, take it in with me, otherwise I wouldn't bother, and then I'd have dinner that I made myself when I got home. There was no time to go to the pub at lunch time or after work, and unless I was rehearsing or gigging I would have things to do that would preclude going to the pub. The office would need cleaning every day irrespective of how many people were there.
