    As mentioned earlier, just bring a few (interesting) bits. Edging on the side of reason, people would be far more engaged in something different, rather than another Precision or Jazz. Also, it's a village hall, not the O2. 😏

    I made series wiring on that MEC pickup a made two outputs, one for piezo and second for magnetic pickups on my acoustic bass than I mix these signals in BOSS LS-2 sounds o.k. will see on stage...thank you again W.

    I hope I'm not speaking out of turn here, but if you're not a Peter Hook fan don't let that put you off. These are fantastic basses in every aspect. The build quality is phenomenal, sound is superb and they play like a dream. Plus, they look even better in the flesh, lovely deep trans red. I can't see mine leaving me any time soon. If you are a Hooky fan then that's just gravy.

    I have two used Spector USA bass bridges that once belonged to NS2 basses I no longer own, I had taken these off in favour of black hardware. One is the heavy all-brass version, this has faded somewhat on the bass side. I’m not sure if this could be polished up. The other is the lighter, aluminium version, this one in better condition. It is considerably lighter. Note: these will not drop into a Euro bass without some re-routing to enlarge the space slightly. £150 for each bridge or £285 for the pair. Price includes UK shipping.

    Guys I am going to put the voting thread up shortly and then hide it straight away , I have done it up to the entries so far, as I am off in a big metal bird first thing in the morning. This way I can unhide it before I fly off and if I need to edit the post for any late ones , it is just adding 1 or 2 if that. I only note it, as you may all get a notification to say i have mentioned you in a topic , but you can't find it !

    Nope, just the end pin. I don't bother fitting the "shoulder" bar. I'm not a proper DB player so don't need to reach over. I do use the hip bar though. The more you play it, the easier and more comfortable it becomes. I'm probably doing loads of things wrong though

    Bloody hell! There is a thread somewhere about finger injuries. 🤣 I once sliced the tops of my index and middle finger on the day of a gig. I wrapped them in micropore, but halfway through our first set, someone from the audience was gesturing at my white bass that had splatter marks all across it. 🤦‍♂️
