  2. Tuners now sold Neck and pickups still available p&p £5 to uk mainland .
  3. The Beta V 2 band eq reminds me of the old Stingray I asked Greg SGFX about the Beta V and the new Diamond EQ Boost Drive , now deciding what to do
  4. They weight virtually nothing. I’ve done a bunch of gigs on a Kala U Bass over the years and you barely notice you’re wearing it. It’s worth adding a strap button at the base of the neck if it doesn’t have one (neither of mine did) so you don’t have to hold it like a regular ukulele. Sound wise you’ll be fine for most styles I reckon. They’re surprisingly versatile.
  5. Oops ! You’re correct, they are 4 in line… I will amend the post ☺️
  6. Hi @Bleezar, I'll DM you. Both the TK-421-X and Volt Thrower are really excellent bass-tailored takes on the RAT but given I have a Volt Thrower for sale I don't think it's fair to give a run down of each on this sale thread.
  7. Calling elvis - dire straits
  8. That's awesome news! Made up to get that update.
  9. Todays Still messy as it took me several days to remove the gunk from the old velcro, so I’m now afraid to recommit.
  10. This echoes my experience as well. once I split the signal and sent the mb to Pa, boom! mine is also an OG that I bought for £35 on eBay about 20 years ago 😉
  11. My 66J and 73P have brass nuts. At least I know they lived a little
  12. They're all on Jazz basses now....
  13. theres a guy works down the chip shop swears he's Elvis - Kirsty McColl
  14. In the 70’s everyone was putting DiMarzios , Badass bridges and brass nuts on their Pbasses. Today just about all of those are now back to stock. You never know …

Well crap, not looking good then! I hope all is ok on their end. Hopefully someone somewhere hears something soon!
  16. Hey peeps. Moving on my Melvin Lee Davis preamp,DI &ir loader with data cable to install software as well as power cable. I bought this to use as a silent practice setup. Never left the house, or gigged. It’s like new tbh. I’m including the data cable you need to install the software. Great sounding preamp. It has a low and high pass filter which is accessible on the software and sets once you disconnect. Software has drum beats and a loop! You can also use this as an audio interface. Extremely capable tool. I’m moving to the mighty plug pro2. Asking for £100+shipping. I think this is fair considering the cable and power lead. Happy for collection if you are in London. happy to answer any questions.
  17. I genuinely hope he's ok. Never had any contact myself but I've been lucky enough to have owned a few different combos of his. All being excellent and a credit to himself.
  18. Charlie big potato- skanky Nancy
  19. Very nice Bindingo exotica!
  20. Get it bought... and I'll have it off you! LOL
  21. I've started gigging with the DB this year. I'm using a j-tone piezo pick up and a trace amp and mark bass two by ten cab. It's been OK ish so far. The last gig I had to deal with a bit of feedback. Set up was cramped and I was practically on top of the cab. Some festy gigs coming up will have bass rig set up but they'll be for eb. I've never tried it through anything else yet. Was thinking of sticking to my combo and Di to the PA. I'd like to pick the brains of experienced dB players who have used amplification. Thoughts?
  22. I’ve watched loads of bits on YouTube about this pedal - it sounds great, he makes a nice fuzzy one based on the Acoustic 360 too, but this one nails the GK sound, great boutique preamp 👌🏼
  23. Today
  24. Lots of frets though It's a beauty. GLWTS
  25. Years back I landed an Aria Pro II Primary bass on a late Friday hunt. It was in rotten shape..over 40 years old. After I got it up and running I decided that every time it left the house I'd put a ding in it, walks, floor, pavement, dragging it along the road a bit. It looks glorious.
