I wonder if this would work with the California TT -

Just found out what this post is about. Another legend gone. Weirdly enough, I put on my Danny Thompson 'Wotcher' t shirt this morning.

Not going to get any more time to mess with it today (kids, bedtimes, etc ) but I think I'm starting to get the hang of it. And it is sounding rather good now. Back when I had the Bass 400+ I mostly EQ'd using the graphic rather than the main tone controls, which were mostly left flat-ish - I'd adjust them for the room, plus, since I was using the 1516 which was up on casters, I'd dial in a bit of additional bottom end to compensate for the lack of coupling of the cab with the stage / floor.

Is it an American made neck with the Bullet trussrod (1974-82) ? Maybe the adjuster has been changed if so as it isn't bullet shaped

Nice comfy strap, helps with those weighty Basses you're thinking of selling becasuse they're too heavy. Well used, been sitting in storage for the last two thousand years. Adjustable length (at both ends) from approx 44in (112cm) to 57in (145cm) from hole to hole. Full working order, OK condition - there's some crud around the holes, nothing that counts as a biohazard and I'll throw it in for free. Thirty quid posted, knock a fiver off if you can collect from Bewdley DY12 I'm in Manchester and Bolton 27th - 28th September and could meet up there if that helps.

I can't say the original shape looks out of place. The grain speaks for itself even with that amount of coverage.

So they moved the bridge closer to the neck by the look of it, so they won't be much shorter in reach than a 33" bass or smaller bodied and likely to be neck dive prone surely - I don't get it -
Westone "The Rail" Bass - DOA - Now a minimal bass

Two flaws ... very sensitive to electrical or magnetic noise. Plus, the magnet induces magnetism in the string. The movement of the magnetised string causes electrical currents in the coil... but they will be extremely weak far from the magnet (inverse cube law) so the signal will be paltry when the magnet is away from the ends of the coil. -
Hi all, Im interested to know if there is a pedalboard size xlr bluetooth transmitter out there on the market? Ideally 2 channel. If so, anyone using it to send their mix?

The only thing I really want are more patches for saving stuff too. The 25 is super limited in that front. Other features are good, but the smaller format and streamlined options are a bonus for me overall.

I may have made a mistake then. I was just going off what I’d seen discussed elsewhere. I thought Dec 24 was the last of the US batch and 25 onwards was overseas. It’s specifically models from Jan 25 that I had heard reports of QC issues, and the info above seems to support that. Mine is older (Feb 2021), and is flawless in terms of finish. To be fair, I’ve owned three Moogs over the years and they have hands down been the best made and perfectly finished synths I’ve had the pleasure of using. I also purchased a decksaver for my Subsequent 25 and it’s a perfect fit, so something definitely changed somewhere down the line.

Fair enough. But all of us are united on the headstock being fugly…lol. Well, I know some people love it…but I have a feeling the market has spoken here…

A standard Ric is shortscale isn't it? 😁 Seriously though, are the necks on these a standard neck but with the bridge moved up a few inches? To me, the whole point of of a short scale is to move the fretting hand towards the plucking hand, not the other way round.

Update I added a BT7 recommend by Sandberg …

Remember that this is based on the Fender tone stack eq which can benefit with the eq controls higher than you might expect. Also, the master volume control applies gain evenly throughout its entire rotation, many master controls do 90% of their work in the first half of the rotation (which makes people THINK they are more powerful though they are not).
