That's a very nice example of a rare bass, and I would say a very good price. Fwiw there are MIJ Washburn & Daion/Yamaki - specific FB groups where there might be significant interest in something like this. GLWTS!

Relisting this as, try as I might, I am not A Jazz Bass Guy. Original thread below, the only thing that’s changed since May is the bass is now wearing a nicely worn in set of La Bella IMA Super Polished strings. I’m in the market for a JMJ Mustang so would be interested in a trade involving one of those (plus cash adjustment on my end). Collection from Haywards Heath preferred, or I’d be happy to meet within 30 miles or so.

Sei basses are particularly special things. In my humble opinion they easily beat the likes of Fodera for build quality, probably Smith too. Of the ones I've owned over the years I regret not maintaining one in the collection! Something to be remedied at some point...

An excellent 6/12-stage phaser, being a clone of the revered Moogerfooger 103. I’ve just received this from Andertons today as a replacement for one I bought a few months ago that had a fault. I’m on a drive to raise money due to unemployment so don’t even want to put this on my board. As yet I haven’t even opened it. I’m happy to leave it unopened or to open to test and photograph for the buyer (once payment is received) if desired. Price includes recorded UK postage. Stock photo for illustrative purposes.

Probably the nicest looking piece of wood I have ever owned. It was created fretless and I had Martin (original builder) re-fret it. In very good condition, I could not find any dings. The only thing that is not quite right is that one of the LEDs at the 12th does not light up unless the batteries are pretty much brand new, I guess a resistance issue. Big sound, thin neck, low action, beautifully made. I have a specially adapted Hiscox guitar case into which it fits as it is small, and also nice and light. Based Chertsey, Junc11 of M25. Bought this on a whim and it's been fun, but I don't really play it. Brand new expensive flats on it. Everything works, its sounds fine and the neck is actually really nice. A good piece of wood and standard jazz feel, although I am no expert. Basically, I was surprised how good it was! The body seems to have been sanded down and stained brown at some stage, with an attractive 'attacked by a cat' look on the back. Based Junc11 of the M25. Can post at buyer's expense.
