I’ll try it in next few days when I get 5 lol However, I think it’s great for my home guitar stereo setup. Unlike my Boss bass chorus it outputs both channels with modulation instead of the usual dry/wet outputs. Got it new from Andertons & not even a hint of maybe sending back which I do if I’m not completely sure if something. For bass I usually use my Moog Flange which is my favourite.

Yeah, feels very high-handed. I don't like to put my own character onto a bands sound unless that's something that they want me to do. I find it's better to just amplify what the band gives me and fix obvious issues.

Origin Effects thanks you for the endorsement! -
I know this thread is years old, but I thought it worth resurrecting rather than starting a new one. Has anyone actually tried the reissue on bass? Given how popular the old one was (I know, back then, chorus options were limited), I’ve been mega surprised to find pretty much zero demos of the reissue on bass. Someone must have given it a whirl and can compare it to the other big players in the bass chorus world?

Remarkable! I had no idea! He’s one of the least metal people I can think of.

I always really liked zero frets on sandbergs for this reason. Open strings sound the same as any other note.

I really liked the first late '80s SR5s, they did a trans blue with a maple neck and white pickguard; that's what I wanted as a kid so it's etched in my mind.

Can you name any preamp pedals that don’t behave in the same way though? Everything I’ve owned has worked this way, from Darkglass, Aguilar, Tech21, etc. The only time I expect a volume control to not affect my DI is on my amp, in case I want to change my stage volume without upsetting the levels going to the desk. But with a preamp pedal, the master volume is really there to balance the gain control so you can adjust the pedal to unity gain when it’s on or off; whereas an amp is always on so you can have the DI pre-master volume.

Bought a HB bass body and neck from me. Smooth transaction, highly recommend basschatter.

Yet another positive comment, bought an MM pickup and preamp from me. Effortless transaction.

Removed from another project bass I was making. I bought this new. This is a clean and clear Glockenklang preamp. It’s in full working order. https://www.glockenklang.de/en/products/bass_systems/onboard_2-band.htm Volume, Balance, Treble and Bass controls with passive tone circuit activated from Push/Pull volume control. Specs from the Glockenklang website: ‘Onboard preamp 2-band The GLOCKENKLANG 2-band onboard preamp is active/passive switchable (at the volume push/pull), has a balance-pot with no volume dip in center-position, a treble-pot with +/- 18 dB@18 KHz in active mode, acting as classical highcut in passive mode and a bass-pot with +/- 14 dB@40 Hz. Battery-connection is 9 / 18 volts. Due to the high performance electronic, in flat position of the eq you can hear no difference between active and passive mode! It comes pre-wired with highflexible cables.‘ £69 plus shipping. Pete

Morning all Up for sale is a set of Squier '77 VMJ pickups. Working perfectly and sound great; I used the bass I got them in for a different build project, so no longer need these. They even come with spring loaded foam, a nice touch. Easy to use for a bitsa build. I'm selling for £27 plus postage. Pete
