  1. Past hour
  2. What can I say about this pedal that hasn't already been said? Super cool and unique filter used by Flea and lots of other people. No other filter I've come across sounds quite like this little green beast, and it also does the famous "dub trick" of turning your bass into a subby monster by turning off the sensitivity so the filter doesn't open. It's been well used in it's ~30 year lifetime with a few bumps and scrapes in the finish, but all is working as it should. Somehow the notoriously "difficult to keep hold of" battery door is still intact on this one! No velcro, and rear sticker with serial number still intact also. Really cool pedal that I owned a number of years ago, and wanted to revisit it out of nostalgia! I've had my fun with it here at home, and now it's time to pass it on. Boss to 3.5mm power adaptor included. Looking for exactly what I paid for it from here a few weeks ago: £60. Add a £5er for delivery, or can be picked up from Ickenham NW London.
  3. Up for sale is my Novation Bass Station 2 Synthesizer. In excellent condition, and comes with the original USB cable for connecting to the computer/powering it and a couple of preset packs. £250 collected from Ickenham, or can meet in London. Postage to be added on top and paid for by the buyer.
  4. Up for sale is an absolutely mint condition Broughton Carina Phaser. I bought it on here a few months ago from the original owner who had only had it out of the box once before putting it up for sale to go towards wedding funds. It's then lived in its box in a drawer at my house ever since, as I really have no need for a Phaser, as much as I love the sound - which is absolutely LUSH! Absolutely brand spanking new, no velcro, original box (which I have labelled with a sharpie as it was just completely blank) £150 + postage, or can meet/be picked up in Ickenham/London.
  5. Well, the prices will go up now, they will have finally achieved desirability
  6. Yes it does, it comes with a Royal Blood style preset all down for you
  7. All this talk of G&L has made me want to go and look out to buy one. I once tried a bass but the neck was too thick so I didn't get on with it. Any suggestions for a wider neck and slightly thinner neck? I'm going to look around for a bass and possibly a guitar as well and see if they are any good. The headstock looks fairly normal to me. Can't see anything wrong with it, no better, no worse than others. Hate to see any guitar/bass company go out of business though. Rob
  8. Personally I’d go for the CV (I have a Chinese one) due to the flatter fretboard profile.
  9. Sale only at the minute ideally but could pontentially consider trades (via pm obviously)
  10. I was going to say this. The closest thing I’ve played. The SHR500F basses are fairly close, too.

  12. that's what happens when you miss the mixing session.

  14. … go on. i dare you…
  15. Both sets back on now and it's magic. We'll see how long they last and whether it works a second time. So, this week I've saved 30% on strings and potentially doubled the life of them, which means an annual saving of a few bottles of wine, I suppose. Whatever, it's a win.

    Darkglass Anagram

Hello. Does the Anagram have a pitch shifter that gives you an octave up option? I need to achieve a kind of a Royal Blood sound but I couldn’t find any infos. Thanks for the help
  17. What Owen said. In addition to the Mule, Alan’s been experimenting with a few interesting new designs lately, including a “skeleton” bass that’s basically a solid top and back, with a hollow, sparred interior. Shuker will also make you more or less anything you want - I saw a nice, Leduc-style floating top semi-acoustic from him recently that was rather nice. I’m sure he could make something similar in short scale.
  18. 50,000 Unstoppable Watts - Clutch
  19. I think it was merely some very inexperienced folks at the venue that thought you could just throw live music at their problem with no real thought put into it Daryl
  20. I'd say 'some things could be improved'. Get them to film a gig and then watch it. That usually irons out problems.
  21. The last few gigs we have done have been belters. The band is really gelling with our new guitarist now.
  22. I'd forgotten just how hideous they are.
