  1. Past hour
  2. White Egg Terror might have some mileage as a band name...
  3. I failed on December 30th
  4. I have a pair of the CTM112's, which seem a very close cousin of the RM cabs, if not identical. I use mine with a 30w valve Little Bastard, so not had chance to really run them at a high wattage. Always used electric bass too, no acoustic sorry. I really like them. They're very lightweight which was a big plus for me. Small form means they fit into a car boot easily and don't take up a ton of space when not being used. I don't use tweeters so I can't comment on the quality of those. My experience is limited with only using the 30w but I'd quite like to get a smaller, higher-wattage head and put them through their paces. Running the Little Bastard as full bore, the cabs didn't seem to be struggling at all. Hope this is some help
  5. I’ve owned this pedal for a while and it’s great, but I’m saving up for a new double bass microphone, so need the cash! Trying to price this fairly. See what you think.
  6. While searching for possible sources for Sqoes, I discovered an article about the factory: https://guitarbomb.com/philippines-china-inside-sqoe-guitar-factory/
  7. I made another year sans nouveau basses (I don’t know why I’ve gone all French). I hope to not repeat the performance for 2026.
  8. You know you want a Dean 10-string...
  9. Take a picture, load the file into Irfanview, crop it and maybe scale it down, save as a .jpg. Drag/choose file. If you copy an image direct into BC, it will convert it into a file called image.png - PNG isn't as compressed a format as JPG, and also it won't be optimised for image size. The other advantage of doing this is that if you use a unique name for the file, you can reuse it in BC without taking up any more space by choosing "Use existing attachment" from the Other Media dropdown.
  10. Stuck a recording on a mini disc (remember them) and used that one year when I used to DJ. Tried playing it from a recording on a CD one year before and the CD was scratched! It stuck a wee bit! In fact I think there are still folk out there holding their glasses up waiting for the chimes...
  11. Just received a Alpha omega clone by DSfx, excellent build quality inside n out. The other black pedals ... DOD carcosa, green russian (blend n diode selection) , Darkglass vintage and a Keeley delay clone. Should be a new Boss xs-1 on there that my wife bought me for Xmas, after one day it wasn't working right (now on back order 😒).
  12. Thanks buddy, appreciate the extra info 👍 Happy new year!
  13. That may be a prejudice, but surely not an irrational one.
  14. Oh that's a given but ideally for snagging rather than expecting to have problems. It would be nice to have a plan going into that.
  15. Haha. That would be cool, I’d do that if I was playing in my rock/metal band, but this one is more pop/soul.
  16. Looks USA made to me. Sterling by Musicman has a different logo, see pic, yours is the US logo. Also serial no checks out. What does it say on the back of the headstock? Your pics show the compensated nut which I don’t think are fitted to cheaper Sterlings. I have one of these in natural and yours looks an identical spec. I’d check carefully before you let this go too cheaply.
  17. In this case, I'm entirely responsible. I've learnt my lesson - no more guesswork, take it to someone who knows.
  18. Next year's thread appearing soon...
  19. If they have a tv could that be connected to the PA, YouTube might get the adverts pop up unless you got premium
  20. I have posted a few basses for sale and found that the file size for pics is massively different depending where you attach/copy and paste from. To keep the file size super low, take a picture in Whatsapp, send to yourself and copy/paste from there. same picture 1.6Mb vs 144 Kb is quite a saving. If you already knew sorry. If you didnt, you're welcome Have a great '26.
  21. Must admit i thought the same. Ive never, ever, come across a modern device that wasn't using a standard jack. Certainly not IEM stuff.
  22. I just replaced a broken Snark tuner , that’s ok in the rules , but I wanted to get it replaced before the next year begins.
  23. Done..
  24. I’ve been noticing on many forums and classified sites that things are not selling as quickly as they used to. Facebook advertising can be annoying , and yet in the local marketplace section deals can be found. It seems that things are unusually slow right now.
  25. Rereading your original post, I think there is still some confusion here. In imperial measurements, the common headphone jack diameters are 1/4 inches and 1/8 inches. In metric, that would be 6.35mm and 3.5mm. When you talk about 1/2 inch jacks, and buying a convertor 'from 4.4mm to 3.5mm (1/4")', I wonder if you are confusing the imperial and metric equivalents and searching for the wrong adaptor? David
