  7. PRICE NOW DROPPED TO £300. Easily the best speaker cabinet I have ever used: am downsizing to lighter Genz Benz cabs as I rarely play live now. The Eden D210XST Cab is loud enough to be heard and yet still small enough to be used at home or in a small studio. For those players who need a portable, high-performance rig with even more low end than the XLT, Eden has designed a 2 x 10" cabinet for their XST woofers. Punchy and clean, the D210XST produces a full and clear tone through its two 10" speakers. It's excellent for delivering articulate bass lines with volume. This 2 x 10" cabinet handles more power than many 4 x 10" cabs on the market. The D210XST offers huge bottom end with its cleverly-designed tuned and ported cabinet construction and speaker selection: the low end is full but tight, the mids are open and well-defined and the highs are clear and crisp. Durable build quality makes this ideal for touring and live performances. All Eden enclosures are constructed with 5/8" thick void free plywood with full dado and rabbet jointing. Massive internal bracing prevents vibration and keeps the sound deep, tight and clear. Exclusive Eden Cast Frame loudspeakers and Eden Cast Bell low distortion tweeter horns are designed, hand-built and tested in their own factory in the USA. Very Good condition. Comes with an official Eden cover. Power Handling: 500 Watts Impedance: 8 Ohms Speakers: 2x10" Eden-spec Eminence EC1060XS speakers Tweeter: Eden Cast Bell low distortion Crossover: 3.5KHz @ 18dB Frequency Response: 30Hz - 14KHz Sensitivity: 103dB SPL Connections: Parallel 1/4 Inch and Speakon Dimensions: 23" w x 18" h x 18.5" d Weight: 59lbs / 26.8kg NOW ONLY £300. Collection from East London preferred, although happy for buyer to arrange a courier.
  8. Thanks, Terry – much appreciated, mate. It's too good to be a backup!
  9. Hi. Here you go (from the Gator site)... Length 12.50" Width 19.00" Height 9.00" Cheers!
  10. Here's my Markbass cab up for sale. It is in near new condition and includes a Roqsolid cover. The top carpet has a couple of indents where the amp was placed on it. Other than that minor sign of normal use it's as new. It has been used several times at rehearsal at very low volume levels and at one gig where it was only used as a monitor as I was going through the PA. It is a great cab. A real one cab solution weighing approximately 18Kg or 40lbs. I'm 70, under 11 stone, have osteoporosis and have suffered a spinal fracture and I'm happy to lug it around. Specs briefly are 2 x 12" ceramic speakers 600 watts Piezo switchable tweeter with 2 levels of attenuation 57.8 x 60 x 47 cm https://www.markbass.it/product/mb58r-122-p-4/ Tone is very Markbass, i.e. effective. Collection or meet up only. I'm in Kendal, Lake District, NW England.

  11. Vive la republic , power to the people power to all our friends, to the music that never ends viva Cliff
  12. I've had this a few years but barely used it. It's always lived in a flight case when not in use and is pretty much good as new. 16 mic/line inputs, loads of outputs and fx built in, more routing options than you can shake a stick at. Comes with an Apple Airport Express wifi router to give you remote operation with tablet of mobile. A big old lump so collection or meet up only please.
  13. This is pretty tame sauce compared to what goes on on social media. I just read through it and to be honest I think most of it was pretty relaxed. I think you're making a bit too much of it - don't be precious. If you ignore your hurt feelings and actually read the thread, you'll find advice in here - for instance you'd get a better price if you redid the covering. How is that negative? Here's some direct negativity for you - I think the cab looks bloody awful. So what? What of it? Why do you care what I think? If you like it, you're not wrong.
  14. I can arrange this. Please let me know where are you located.
  15. Now 590 GBP delivered to any door in Europe! Here is my Fender Precision 57 RI Made in Japan. N serial-FujiGen made around 1993. 42.3mm width at the nut, 4.095 kg. Punchy and powerful sound. Shipping to Europe included in the price. Any question please ask. Cheers!

  16. I recently got a message from the leader of one band that I was kind of in. Basically standing in until they found a permanent bass player. With date and details of a gig he'd booked us for. It confuses me how some of these people ever got organised enough to learn how to play an instrument.
  17. No idea. I quite like the stock Peavey pickups

  19. The original pickups are Bart Mk1's that come on most if not all SR's. I'll need to refit them to get some sound samples. Its a three band like the ibanez original but way less peaky and its not prone to signal distortion. I have had a number of Ibanez over the years (sR505, BTB's, EDA905 and the premium series) and the pre amp is always a bit of an achilless heal imho and even if they work i tend to swap them out except for the premium but thats was a £1200 bass so ...

  21. didnt see them until the serpents tour, totally dialling it in by then. wish id seem them back in the early 90s
  22. So I have been having such a positive experience since I started using my IEM’s more and more, with the exception that even the largest Comply tip doesnt seem to want to stay sealed in my left ear. As suggested by @dave_bass5 I’ve tried a smaller tip too without success. So, I am now thinking of going down the custom moulded route. My question is, is there a significant advantage in going with a vented ambient IEM such as the ACS Evolve over a standard non-vented ambient design? I’ve had great service from my ACS custom moulded ear protection, and I am minded to go with them for my IEM solution with the Evolve being about the price point I’d like to pay.
  23. Andertons website showing one blue in stock today. Very tempted, then remembered my Squirt James Johnston jazz bass- got blue covered!
  24. Are the MK1 Bart's the same as the ones that are in the SR500 series? Also, what is the generic preamp, i.e. 2 band or 3 band? And finally, do you have any sound samples with the Barts in? Lots of questions! 🤣
  25. So, played the Farmyard Party at the weekend - pics above on @casapete's post a couple of pages ago. The Friday was very hot and sticky. As we were staying over, I had to put up a large tent pretty much on my own (the missus is recovering from an operation on her hands) in rock hard ground - hence me managing to look sweaty, pasty and sunburnt all at the same time in Pete's picture above. Great to meet Pete before the gig - I was obviously pretty busy trying to get everything ready for our show, so I only managed to see a couple of songs from his band, but he is obviously a very tidy bass player. There was a bit of a groan from backstage as they played a song on our setlist, but fortunately that seemed to be the only one so we managed to avoid too many duplicate songs! The gig itself was a bit hit and miss. We had a (very good) dep guitarist and it had been sounding brilliant in the three rehearsals we managed to get in before. However, live there were a few adventures starting and (particularly) ending songs and a fair few missed cues. Endings became a bit of a negotiation between me, the guitarist and the drummer, with the poor keyboard playing trying to work out what was happening from the other side of the stage! However, we got a pretty good audience reaction and had a lot of very positive feedback after the show (with a couple of gig offers thrown in), so it can't have been too bad - amazing what you can get away without the audience noticing when playing live sometimes! Gear wise, I was using the 70s P bass and the usual set-up of a Shure GLXD wireless, Thumpinator, Cali76 bass comp and Caveman pre into a Handbox R400 and Berg CN212 cab.
  26. LFSys Monaco for sure!
