    eBay aren't interested in dealing with counterfeits, so paying extra for some buyer protection scheme is a nonsense. The idea of automated positive feedback is quite bizarre. As a buyer, I don't trust them.

    SUB 5 was cool as it had 2 band EQ and an Alnico pickup - at the time the Ray 5 had ceramic, 3 EQ and switch, and ash or alder body - the SUB was poplar. The slab body isn’t for everyone, comfort wise. Both good basses, just a bit different to each other. The 2 band has a warmer tone in some ways, and the alnico pup is more traditional. I did play them side by side back in the day, liked them both for different reasons, still do on other models.

    Could you not reply "Alas, thou art going up for sale on BC, hopefully to someone who needs a new bass more than I"? That would solve the problem of what to do with it, and not actually cost you money creating a bass you don't need.

    Very tempting this Anagram. I use very little of the QC processing and use it mainly for effects but live in the hope that parallax gets ported into it soon The Anagram is perfect for my needs but I have a QC and don't think I cam be bothered with the effort of selling the QC to a guitarist!

    Bought this from this forum a couple of years ago, just had some home use with me. I found it to be a very musical sounding and less synthy sounding pedal. £80+ postage cost.

    This is going to look lush imho - very retro. I remember a guitarist friend back in the late ‘70s having a 40W valve ‘Bolt’ combo in a similar natural wood finish that I thought looked so classy compared to the usual dinged up tolex look.
