  1. Past hour
  2. Hello! Well I think I used this paper way before then... I think I set up a custom paper size in my printer (and design software)
  3. Pre Bank Holiday Weekend Bump. I will be withdrawing this soon and popping it somewhere, likely the Bass Gallery, for a commission sale soon. If you're interested, let me know!
  4. that looks fab
  5. I initially had success with the MS1 but it dropped out at a band gig twice on one gig. Its a shame because it sounded great and was small and light went MIpro 58 and haven't looked back
  6. Hi ,can you check the shipping costs for Sarajevo 71000,Bosnia and Herzegovina, thanks, all best
  7. This is definitely worth the asking 👍 I did a similar headstock reshaping to mine, which suits it perfectly. I also changed the scratchplate to clear and tinted the neck to a more amber shade, and it really looks the part to me. GLWTS!
  8. Today
  9. Well that was pretty straightforward. With the exception of the low E, I was able to fit the others without loosening the string at the headstock? Stumpstock? I just removed the original washer to fit them.
  10. To consider: - low noise switches? - how many switches you - really - need? - battery saving mode if you forget it ON? Mine is a Pageflip Dragonfly. It has four quiet switches (would work in a studio, or with a symphony band), super long battery lifetime, and extra weight. The unit has lights, too, but the form of the unit is so distinctive you cannot miss. Low noise means no tactile feedback, but I do can see, when the page is turning. Now I would choose the simpler one with two switches only: Butterfly or Firefly. The two extra switches are not needed, but on the way. They are also slimmer units. There was extra metal inside that I removed. The pedal can move on a slippery floor, but because I carry everything in my mono case, lighter, and slimmer is better.
  11. Probably just under an hour then I reckon. 🙂
  12. Just outside Grimsby 🐟🐟🐟
  13. Where are you Mike?
  14. I'm after an EBS, drop me a message if you'd consider selling it instead of the MXR
  15. So beautiful Good luck with the sale
  16. Here you go: Based on an old concert photo : Based on a more recent selfie : I can't say any of them are particular accurate to my actual looks.
  17. Well, you've just said that people have downloaded and then bought. Also, I've been to see bands based on having listened. I'm not inclined to share receipts, but you can take my word for it as evidence (or not, as you choose).
  18. This is my thoughts and why I am hesitant to go although the event I am thinking of going to is a 5.1 surround sound mix and played loud though uncompressed audio on our powerful cinema sound system. I still ask the question, is it going to be that good that I am left with wow, what incredible detail and clarity or am I going to think, wasn't much better than through my system at home or through headphones.
  19. If you want your SSRW strings sound like flats, loan your bass for a couple of weeks to someone else. Do they wash their hands at all?
  20. Finally entering the 21st Century for depping and will be using a new Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ Tablet and a setlist/music app..... but I need to get a decent quality, reliable page turning pedal. Seems there's lots of choices out there. Who's using what and would recommend? Cheers!
  21. On the topic of energy I came across this article recently: https://andymasley.substack.com/p/a-cheat-sheet-for-conversations-about I'm not sure how true it is, but it's an interesting perspective.
  22. Hi Luke, I hope it's alright me exhuming an old thread. I would like to try my hand using the sheet in your link. I see that it's 10,8x13,9cm - what's the method for positioning the sheet on the printer to ensure you print on the right spot, please? Is the whole sheet A4 and the transfer bit only 10,8x13,9cm?
  23. Ooh - that's just across the river from here......😎🤘
  24. Learning To Fly - PF
  25. Sorry to hear about your shoulder problems. It just seems that once they are damaged they never get back to how they were. I bought the bass new in 2018 and had the body chambered to help with the weight due to my back problems but since then I ruptured my shoulder in a fall and had to have a reverse shoulder replacement. It makes playing 34" scale basses very difficult and painful. However this bass is a beautiful instrument and deserves to be played. Succumb to temptation!
