  2. I will be, definitely. Even though they're charging another tenner on top of the advertised price for "service fees" 😡
  3. Actually not yet. It's still in our hallway annoying Mrs Bassy, if you want it it's yours (to collect). I used to work in Coalville for a couple of years about 10 years ago.
  4. Now at an amazing £902 well done and many thanks to all x
  5. New information added to the description and photos uploaded 👍🏻
  6. Ha ha. You're welcome. Thank you. It was a lucky choice this month. I am a bit of a one trick production pony. I like sound design, and dubstep only uses one chord so no song writing involved. I look forward to future challenges using less familiar tools and more notes.
  7. I would think so, they are the same scale length. I don't know for certain though...

  9. Just noticed that the body has contours and chamfers. The slab body can be hard going at times.
  10. MODERATOR MODE /ON Hi all If you're interested in buying the bass, please contact the OP. If you're not, scroll on.
  11. Hey Terry, no it wasn't, unfortunately. My own fault. Twice I tried negotiating with Andertons thinking that as a returning customer (having previously bought 3 basses from them - two of which were brand new) they might have knocked a few quid off their asking price, and I guess I was a bit pissed off when they said 'No'. I was also put off a bit with their replies when I was simply trying to learn a bit more about the bass. I didn't feel that unreasonable considering I was chucking 400 quid on the basis of seeing a handful of photos. Still, by hesitating I lost out. So I only have myself to blame. 😥 So the search continues. And I've learnt my lesson !
  12. As new, with all paperwork snd box, barely used.

  15. The Sansamp Q-Strip is worth checking out, very versatile eq but no drive so fits the bill. For travelling light gigs it’s a pedal that runs on batteries, just one more little thing that makes life easier. I do similar on gigs where an amp isn’t provided - Mono M80 with bass, a Behringer BDI21, and my BOSS WL20 wireless kit (plus a lead just in case). Really does make gigging easy.
  16. It’s kinda Fender’s “thing” since the 50’s.

It may be because the OS is Linux-based - "/" is the separator between directory levels, like "\" in Windows, so Comp/Lim/HPF would be a file called HPF in a directory Lim in a directory Comp.
  18. That's works with me, I'll send you a PM with the details.
  19. I use the EBS Stanley Clarke for both electric and upright gigs and it’s great.
  20. Hi everyone, In addition to the 40-odd live multiple tribute shows at Warner's Resorts and Theatres I do annually, we are ramping up our trio and have been offered a load of duo gigs. With the duo we're planning to travel light, so I'm looking at an Amplifier-free solution. So what preamps do people use these days? I'd guess things have moved on from the early SansAmps. What do you all recommend for great live sound straight into the PA? I usually have a very clean Fender Jazz sound through either TC Electronic or MarkBass rigs. Thanks in advance 😎👍
