Up for sale is my much-loved and well-cared-for 1997 Warwick Corvette Standard. This beauty has been a joy to own, but it's time to let her go to fund new projects. This is one of those basses that just fits, perfectly balanced on a strap, incredibly comfortable neck, and low, buzz-free action. It sounds fantastic, with that unmistakable Warwick growl and clarity, and sits beautifully in any mix across a wide range of genres. These days she’s more of a case queen, as I haven't played much recently. As such, a basic setup and pot clean may be needed. Chaps, I appear to have lost the ability of marking forums as read. I click on the button and nothing happens. I have signed out and back in again, but the problem continues. Any ideas?

The guitarist in my Queen trib has two, one of which is the expensive variety. He hates it. -
Great night and good to meet you Michael.

only4 started following Woody tone
-
Just wondering if there’s a specific frequency that will bring out the woody tone of a bass or is it predominantly from the instrument’s construction/pickup?
-
strangely I actually have more guitars than basses, strange considering bass is my first instrument but I also suppose they are mostly P basses or derivatives (apart from the HW4403) I've got 4 Brian May guitars!

Greenboy Crazy 88 (by Tricky Audio)
Happy Jack replied to Happy Jack's topic in Amps and Cabs For Sale
My understanding is that the EA Wizzy 10 is all about the tone rather than the volume, and when I was selecting my go-to cab for DB nearly 15 years ago I decided that the Crazy 8 was by far the better package. Obviously things may have changed since then, but my Crazy 8 remains my go-to after all this time and maybe 400 gigs. The Crazy 88 does exactly what you'd expect ... Crazy 8 on steroids. Obviously it's not actually twice as loud, but equally obviously it does go WAY louder than the Crazy 8. For context, it can't possibly compete with my Barefaced 210 for sheer volume but I use the BF for maybe three or four gigs on DB each year (out of 60) so that's not particularly relevant. It's not as loud as my Trace 88, which I only use with electric bass, but the tone is far more attractive. -
It looks to me that it's not Mr Mason's channel and that the guy whose it is may very well be taking the comments down just so he doesn't have to take the video down rather than admit even he's been duped to giving the guy the oxygen of publicity. Is that too charitable a thought? As regards the court case. I'd bet 12 months suspended or something like that. See you in a few years and he'll still be doing the same dodgy stuff no doubt. The thing is, in many ways it's small enough amounts that most people wouldn't crack someone over the head for their cash or goods. Not always the case, but I feel the bloke will just continue to just walk between the raindrops.

New limited edition Jackson Rhoads bass - coming to the UK?
razor5cl replied to razor5cl's topic in Bass Guitars
You're not alone - I'd absolutely KILL for one. I've always thought the Rhoads shape looks so much better than your bog standard Gibson Flying V-esque shapes. If you Google it you can find one-off custom shop Rhoads basses but a proper production run at a reasonable price would be absolutely killer. That and I'd like to actually play one first because I imagine the ergonomics of the body shape will be....uncertain and interesting 🤣 -
