  1. Past hour
  2. It was the only url available or that Andre could afford at the time he set up statii.com?
  3. I thought you were Stuart Zender for a mo! Ahh...the 90s.. ❤️
  4. Location: Teesside (N.E.)
  5. He's said he doesn't know any theory at all, which I infer as he never plays scales or arpeggios etc. Most of us, when we're learning a bassline will work out "okay so that's a simple arpeggio for the next coupe of bars" or "it's a pentatonic run" which makes it easier to remember and work out what to play BUT also means if you had to vary it a bit that'd be a doddle. Just start the scale on a different note, go down for the 5th instead of up, could play a different scale or chord tone and that's kind of how I write an orginal bassline, even if I'm not aware of it - the more basslines you learn, the more theory you have, the more scales and patterns you've practised the bigger your selection of tools. Giaccomo has no tools in his toolkit. He plays the notes, he doesn't know what they are or why they work so he can't change them. That's what I think. He steals because he literally can't write anything himself. He's a mimic.
  6. again, why? Why is the genitive Status (4th) and not Stati (2nd)
  7. Yes indeed @Inga, still available
  8. Anyone else plotting to bring an Ibanez Ashula SRAS7 with? It's a weird one...
  9. Lars from Schaller got back to me this morning. Unfortunately they haven't got any left. Looks like I will have to check out eBay and Reverb for parts.
  10. My next adventure with the Monaco is gigging it with my 12-string using a bi-amp patch in a couple of weeks. It sounds great at home but it'll be interesting to hear it at the venue, see what the sound engineer says and hear any reactions. It's a jam night that's attended by quite a lot of gear hounds who always like a nosey at who's using what, so we'll see.
  11. Loved it, will buy the album when it comes out, really liked the writing on the mirror thing, cool video and a great song John 😎
  12. You did what you were paid to do Daryl. That's what professional musicians sometimes have to accept. 😎 As difficult as it must have been, you did it, you got paid. Job done. On to the next one. Dave
  13. Yeah, sorry mate, that doesn't look right - this is my 2020 CLF L-1000... 4mm hex iirc.
  14. As I said, on the radio I switch stations if I don't like something which is playing. (I only listen to the radio in the car.) TV-wise, I mentioned that I used to watch MTV (etc.), but it's been a while. More recently I do record "Later" and other music shows on TV, but then I can skip over things if I want to. On the Hi-Fi, I can choose what I want to listen to when I want to and have some 1500 albums on a shared drive to choose from.
  15. That's my new stage name, that is. Thank you.
  16. And, by the way...
  17. Because of its genitive form.
  18. I'm a recent convert to Joni Mitchell probably in last 10yrs. She has some beautiful songs including this one. I prefer her "Wild Things Run Fast" era but i'm sure i'll end up listening to more of her earlier albums too. So much talent. With regards simple bass lines, your comment reminded me of my first bass lesson back in mid 70's. Simple times Rob. Dave
  19. Here we have a boxed, hardly used set of schaller M4-90 light tuners / machine heads. 4 in line, Right handed. Box is marked from storage but everything’s there. I’ll consider a deal if you want to also purchase the matching 3D-4 roller bridge I have listed separately here: Currently £79 but out of stock on Thomann. P&P will be around £5 on top. Cheers!
