So I saw this on Bas Bros social media the other day and thought it looked amazing. Now sold so some lucky bugger has done well! But then I thought I had seen it before, but Google and the Shuker website is proving fairly useless. Did someone here spec it, or even buy it just there?

High-end ambient reverb pedal inspired by the legendary Lexicon 224 and Vangelis’ Blade Runner soundscapes. Delivers lush plates and expansive halls with deep modulation, pitch vector control, and pristine stereo operation. Ideal for ambient, post-rock, and cinematic textures. Great condition, a small mark on one of the knobs and a very small scratch over the 9v label. Velcro on underside. No box. Price assumes cleared funds and second class postage. Any questions, drop me a line. Cheers

That was a jazz bass, neck and tone full up, bridge pickup rolled off a little bit into the Mesa amp sim and 810 IR from the GP-5. The bypassed tone wasn't that different in all honesty. Maybe a little fuller?

Any Sheryl Crow love here?

That's a great example, she's happy to just put a little riff in here and there, less is more kind of thing. Vocals are still brilliant too. -
I wholeheartedly concur with @Silky999 - this is a spectacular little bass with a rich and full sound - We even tuned the pickup angles between us, so it sounds perfectly even between each string. If I hadn't taken a 5-string Maruszczyk Mr.Tee Shortscale in P/X last week, I'd be having this myself! The engraved 'MGCS Basses' logo on the body is next level cool, too.

Broken Peach at the underworld in Camden last week. This was their first, and only UK date. Fantastic night. Never been to that venue before, although I have been upstairs a few times. They did a straight 90min non stop set, and had so much energy. Almost all covers but all were mash ups which made a change from the usual covers band gig. They took this at the end of the night and posted it on Social media.

Glad it worked in that time, but no, I don't think so. Its not some dodgy product off aliexpress (although I have had some great things from aliexpress). If they could only be used for a few hours a day the internets would be full of bad reviews and they really aren't - I looked at reviews as it is something I would maybe consider if my X18 ever died (although I have an XR16 too). I have had my X18 on for over 16 hours without any problems, and that is what I would expect from yours.

Those stripy outfits make the poor cows hips look big? I used the Harley Davison TB-70 for this. It has a clean preamp and some heavy gauge strings, uh hu. Run into the POD VST amp model. then a bit of top end into some modulation to widen it. Made a synth kick drum and used a hat loop and midi samples. Made an ambient sound with a cow, and added the cries of distressed cattle. Added some synths, then grilled a rump steak for 10 minuets each side, served with chips.

Thank you, very much appreciated. I can only think that the neck / headstock has been re finished as apart from the font being iffy, whoever did the refin has made it look like it’s been there from when the neck was made.

I have a mate who owned an extremely high end hi-fi business. We're talking installs running into the tens of thousands; another of my mates is one of his clients. It's ridiculous money changing hands (£750 for a turntable power supply, I mean, WTAF??). Anyhow, I reckon I've listen to enough records on high end kit and - while it's a personal opinion - no amount of money thrown at various set ups is going to convince me that those crackles and pops and surface noise etc. would be worth the outlay. Could you imagine if, in an alternative universe, CDs actually came first, then 100 years on some wag said, 'Hey look, I've invented this, it's 7" bigger, made of black plastic. It's prone to scratching and if you play it a few times, it'll actually sound worse! You won't be able to use it anywhere other than in your house and the hardware will cost a fortune. It's great, and oh, it's going to cost you three or four times more than those CD things.'
