  2. IK Multimedia's MODO Drums has a free version. I've also noticed that after isntalling AIR Music / InMusic's free channel strip they've just given away, they now seem to own BFD drums and there's a lite version for free from them too. If you're on a Mac, then Logic's Session Drummer is useable - I guess GarageBand would offer a drum option too, but I havent used that app for ages. I do have EZDrummer 2 & 3, they are, as mentioned, paid options but very, very good. You'll hear a mixture of MODO and Logic Drums on pretty much all of my review videos. I improvise everytihing (badly ha ha) so drum loops are really useful! EZD hasn't featured much, I should get it back on track!
  3. Dropped to £200, without the spare strings I was originally including. This bass is in hardly used, mint condition.
  4. That's works with me, I'll send you a PM with the details.
  5. Set Fire To The Rain - Adele
  6. Sacrilege! Schisms and wars have been started over less.
  7. I'm sure something with that same R on the headstock came up just a few days ago on BC and it wasn't a maker that started with R at all.
  8. I Wish It Would Rain Down - Phil Collins
  9. I’d say clarity of note is more important than which finger you use. It’s not like bowing a double bass. And remember, knowing 1 scale already puts you ahead of 50% of guitarists in theory knowledge.
  10. TH700 in perfect working order. Never gigged, home practice only. Noctua Silent fan mod, so is literally inaudible in a quiet room. Priced to sell, shipping at £15.

  11. Just for interest how did the board in your amp get damaged?
  12. Here is a pretty much brand new Dingwall NG3 5 String. I've had this for 2 months, used it for 1 gig, and a couple studio session. Hands down the best 5 string bass I have ever player, but sadly not quite the right fit for me. The action is crazy low and yet the strings ring true and clear. Tone from this thing absolutely beastly. This has all the new upgrades Dingwall introduced this year: - Minimalist bridge - Smaller active/passive switch (for no snags and harder to knock by accident) - Neck binding - String bullets (individual string retainers) Finish is a gorgeous black with subtle sparkle. Matt finished knobs that seem to be rubberized, are super easy to grab mid gig and tweak away. I have all the original case and goodies, plus packaging so all good to get this shipped too - will be £35 to UK (contact me if needing shipped further afield and I can see what is possible). I am sure I will regret this - I was giddy after the one gig I played with it after the sense of ultimate low end power. But I know it will mostly sit in my studio unused for the various projects I am involved with. Feel free to get in touch with any questions.
  13. If only it wasn't purple. Otherwise it looks to be a very versatile and useful bass. Sounds great on the demos. Sods law that Frank Bello is the only rocker out there who wouldn't choose black.
  14. Hi , for sale my FERNANDES / BURNY RLC- 60 - AF Les Paul with fitted case . Three pickup (selector... Neck ........ 16. I'm pretty sure I've seen one in a green(burst) finish a few months ago on reverb. IIRC it was listed as something Korean.
  17. I've got EZDrummer, never really got the hang of it since it seems you do all the arranging in the plugin's little window, not directly in the DAW and I don't like that. Maybe I'm doing it wrong. The sounds themselves are great though. This is more to help me come up with ideas based on rhythms that I might not have thought of, or that might be a little out of my comfort zone, to help prompt creativity.
  18. Back up for sale and hasn't been used since February. The price does include delivery and is pretty reasonable I believe.
  19. Maybe this? I will say that I feel alternate fingering feels WAY more efficient than raking to me but it's all personal.
  20. I did that for 30 years. But with age and wanting to enjoy driving, that comes in the form of a 2 seater soft top 😄. And certainly cheaper to find a speaker to fit the boot, than upgrade/upsize the car.
  21. Thanks man, I will be bringing that with me, such a cool thing. The 62 P and 63J may come along too. Yeah I didn't know too much about it but looks like a decent show, only on for a day but I will enjoy a weekend in Brighton anyway, if I can park the camper van somewhere!
  22. I’ll echo others - I’ve used an Elf in a loud rock band, no PA support, and it’s been a revelation. To the point I considered just having two, one as back up to the other, and nothing else. If the TE 1200 is too big and you do decide the Elf is too small, what about the Warwick Gnome 600?
  23. I appreciate I’m in That London but I hadn’t heard of this :-(. Could even have popped in to No. 1 daughters but I’m spoken for now. Have a great time & I hope it’s successful. That ‘63 P is awesome!
