A small but powerful modular system I put together based around a Moog Mother 32 synth and sequencer. I added a Doepfer LFO A145 for increased modulation possibilities. I also added an Erica PICO DSP for onboard effects such as delays, chorus and reverb. There is a Doepfer mixer A138 and Behringer CP1A power supply. The modules are housed in an official Moog 104 HP case with some rack space left for more modules. The unit is unboxed and comes with mains adapter, patch leads as pictured. There is no midi lead included. The units are in very good condition and the Moog unit was recently serviced. The case has a cosmetic scratch at the front as pictured. I can include some extra rack screws. It’s compact but quite heavy as there is a lot packed into a small space! It is a great introduction to modular with plenty of patch options for experimentation. The Mother 32 has an onboard sequencer and small rubber ‘keys’ so it can be used standalone using headphones or an amp. It can be triggered by external midi or cv controllers. Selling as a complete unit. Pickup preferred but I can post UK only at buyer’s cost. It’s worth looking at reviews of each module to get a better perspective of what they can do. I’ll list on here to see if there is any interest before trying the usual….. Now reduced

Me? Ha ha, no, it was my update on the Spanish Inquisition sketch. But, to your point, there are still plenty around. -
For sale, my Octave Mandola OR Octave Mandolin (they are the same thing). Shorter scale than an Irish Bouzouki, this one is tuned GDAE in unison pairs (or courses). Condition is excellent, not quite mint and includes a nice TGI gig bag that is a perfect fit. Mandola is in Hope Valley (S33 6SB) for local collection or I could deliver locally too. Could attempt uk posting but it isn't as solid as a bass so I'd be a bit wary of that.

That is significantly better than i'm getting out of mine , I suspect there's variation on pickup tone / position to i'm guessing you gave this the best possible scenario ... Good strong neck pickup tone ? I'd have loved to hear it bypassed to see how much its sucking out of your tone... I do agree though there's a lot of problems that come from being able to hear your sympathetic strings , creating a chorus effect , even when im using the Anagram my solution has been " volume" .... the issues disapeer at rehearsal + levels of sound when you cant hear your unplugged at all.

Are those pups DiMarzio? That preamp is period correct. If you haven't already ordered the new preamp can I suggest you fit a new battery and a jack socket... hiss doesn't sound like the issue of low battery but well worth a try. It likely has had a new jack socket at some time but they are notoriously bad for breaking down; you'd be advised to fit a new one any way, even with a new preamp.

The DM610 is a large bookshelf/standmount speaker from renowned hi-fi brand B&W, featuring a well-braced 30-litre sealed cabinet with 8-inch mid-bass driver. The larger driver and extra cabinet space create a much better low end range than from most similar speakers. This model allows for either bi-wiring or bi-amplification. These speakers present clean tight bass response, surprisingly clear mids for such a large driver and the pleasant highs that the well-designed B&W tweeter at that time was famous for. They can be driven quite loud, enough for the physical effect of the bass to be felt without audible distortion or a sense of sound compression. Both speakers are in Very Good condition, especially for their vintage. All-original, complete with full grilles (one of which has a small hole, shown in the final photo). Only £125. Collection from Bournemouth BH6 preferred. Here comes the science bit… Type: 2-way closed, shelf speaker Colour: Ash black veneer Dimensions: 490 x 236 x 303 mm (H x W x D) Weight: 7.8 kg Recommended amplifier power: 30-150 W Frequency response: 70 - 20,000 Hz (±2 dB) Crossover: 2500 Impedance: 4 Ohm
