  3. @JPJ Do You receive my last messages? You stopped answering me in the middle of conversation and I do not know what to to. I am new on this forum. Maybe I am doing something wrong.
  4. Today
  5. I think you can edit listing title to reflect the new price.
  6. Hi Thornybank Love the colour, am not interested in swaps and happy to do bank transfer. What's the best price you are happy to accept with original case etc? Cheers Geoff
  7. @Woodinblack just following up on the Swiff WX520 and a couple of online comments (summarised by Google), given this is on our band shopping list as a 5.8 GHz wireless. Real-world latency is often much higher than advertised (e.g., 10ms vs. 5ms claim). Exhibits a noticeable high-frequency roll-off (from 6kHz) and increased distortion above 4kHz, making it sound dull. Does the first of those tie up with your experience - is it something you can test? I guess the second is not going to be more of an issue for guitarists than us bass players, but may impact female vox if it's an issue?
  8. If you change your mind about selling I would be interested. I’m not far from you either.

  10. I would have made my displeasure clear.
  11. I added a fake one to my Flea jazz using a bit of copper tape 😈
  12. I play a lot of arpeggios and walking lines so not using all four strings would make life pretty difficult . Made a few changes to my amp settings of late, just thickening up the middle which adds a bit of girth to the g-string.
  13. I've asked the seller a question: "Are the bits broken off the headstock included in the sale?"
  14. Can anyone offer some real world experience? Curious how they would compare to a traditional set. Cheers.
  15. The presets do to have very similar names between the Pocketmaster and GP-5/50. It's obvious they are using the same tech, just different implimentations.
  16. Barefaced cheek? I'll get my coat...
  17. I brought it along as my Brother spotted it earlier and I ended up noodling on it and it was great fun. Found a new song we are knocking into shape it really suits - think something in the same ballpark as Hey Hey My My (Into the Black). It's so dŵty, but really good to play and sounds huge. I paid about 50 times as much for the other bass I was using...
  18. I made and sold cables for two Basschatters recently. One was delayed for some reason so I sent it on a Royal Mail. 24hr service. The other was on. 48Hr but I paid for a collection on that one. Both were collected and delivered the following day.
  19. Rubber ring. Smiths
  20. Sonicake and Valeton are both part of the Hotone company so I wonder if it's more work less the same as the GP-50 but in a different box. I've got a GP-5 but not tried any Sonicake products.
  21. Looking for a competent keys player to join an established two tone ska covers band with full horn section - all the usual classics 🏁. 2-3 rehearsals a month initially. Plymouth area.
  22. We've had detuners on basses for decades. They're usually passed down from player to player (popular in opera sections usually because players get fed up with knocking their extensions under the stage in opera pits). Plus there's an American company making them these days as well. For a laugh I put one on my 5 string to pedal a B flat.... They're not that common on nice basses for the obvious tension issues (no probs on bass guitar as that's basically just a plank) plus with a standard 4 string set of Eudoxas knocking on £1000 they really don't like detuners! Hipshot make one also, but it's not the best quality and can damage your tailpiece. Good for a laugh though.
  23. I've just recently sold a bass and used Parcelforce Express as they had generally been absolutely fine in the past. Booked the collection on Sunday for Monday collection from my work address. This is the safe option as I work in logistics, shipping etc. so we know all the drivers and couriers. No tracking or anything available despite a tracking number so getting a bit worried. Parcelforce turn up at 4.30pm and the driver says he's come to collect the parcel but can't actually take it as head office haven't bothered to print the shipping labels but he thought he'd turn up anyway 🙄 So I make a few phone calls and its picked up the following day and delivered today. Quite bizarre really.
  24. I believe there have been manufacturing delays because Barefaced has moved the business to a different location. That's always going to slow things down.
