  1. Past hour
  2. As were fitted to one of the many Jazz basses in the arsenal. Maybe for an hour or so. They're just not for me. £35 posted
  3. Strange Brew - Cream
  4. I'm looking forward to trying them out. I'm just hoping they're not otherwise generic (and not very good) bass amps dressed up with a badge with some historical brand cachet, like Guitar Center did in the US when they brought back the Acoustic brand about 10 years ago.
  5. Thank goodness for that. Hands up those who thought Pandora was his wife!
  6. I’ve got an OC2 with the square wave mod which is great fun. Sounds brilliant in the loop of my env filter. I’ll record a clip…
  7. IMPORTANT NOTICE As our regulars already know, we are not set up for bank-card transactions. 'On the door' entry payments (£13) and purchases of raffle tickets and Bash T-shirts will therefore be cash only.
  8. Works OK for me on Chrome and Firefox, both on Windows.
  9. Milk and alcohol - Dr Feelgood
  10. i also do have the 'jewelry', pickup cover and bridge cover
  11. You need to get to know better people!
  12. oh yeah, I never noticed the face!
  13. I love my Tribute L2000. Really versatile and it has has the K mod so pickups can be split, series or parallel. I put a Japanese premium G and L neck on it so it now has a more jazz bass width instead of the chunky one it had before. I kept the original in case I ever want to put it back.
  14. IMO the Sire P5 is a better quality bass, it’s less versatile as it just has the one pickup and you’ll not go far wrong with either, but a second hand BB434 is what I’d be looking for if you want a Yamaha, the Sire P5 is really good tho - the Sire P5R is outstanding
  15. The current NS Radius range of basses are rather nice - I was surprised. The higher-end ones have a graphite/maple sandwich neck, but even the cheaper wooden-necked WAV models are really nice and apparently super-stable. They're more a spiritual successor to the 1990s XQ series than the good ol' cricket bat though.
  16. I have already played it and it is testament to the fact fender could do the right thing if they wanted
  17. 😱 Pandora is my cat!
  18. Prefer side A personally. There's a face in there if you look for it. Beautiful piece of wood, whichever you choose. Best of luck with the build.
  19. I’m back in the club again - got this BBP35 with Nordstrand pups last week, plays beautifully and has a great PBass sound on the front pup. I can see what all the fuss is about with these now I’ve got it in my hands, an amazingly comfy neck and the quality is ridiculously good all the way through. My main bass is still an active J but this is a fantastic alternative when the P Bass is needed, gonna stick some TI flats on it once I’ve got a spare £80 😖
  20. Surely the first thing that Gibson would do would be to remove the upper horns from all of the guitars and basses that G&L make in order for the headstock to want to head to the floor as soon as you take your hand off the neck

  22. Couple of pedals not being used atm. Vapour trail, Easily one of my favourite anolog delays. Very similar to the carbon copy but with more flexibility. £80 posted Also one of my absolute favourite underrated fuzz sounds is the (now discontinued) Ebs Fuzzmo, cuts through the mix like a dream. £70 posted Both in perfect working condition, couple of tiny chips. Always happy to hear trades.
  23. @walshy If you had that Daphne Blue AVRI62 up a month ago, then I would probably have bought that instead...!
  24. Great valve preamp/multi channel drive/DI pedal Sounds great had many options and uses can do smooth cleans vintage crunch to modern distortion. Great pedal has been on my board so has velcro and some signs of use etc but has only done a handful of practices and one gig. Mostly used at home with headphones which is a great option for the neighbours. Really is a great analog solution with a modern twist. Asking price includes postage.. Any questions feel free....
