Ah no. Being of youthful disposition her output consists solely of short video clips, all in portrait mode, none longer than a minute. Not even worth trying to grab a screen shot from 🤣😂 I need to put my reading glasses on next time!

Managing to get reasonably similar outputs across both boards now for songs, but also different flavours which is cool. -
Purchased a Jam Ripple from @bassbora... everything as you'd expect from a good basschatter!

Continuing on from last week's video lesson where I gave you a simplified version of the bass line from Don McLean classic, 'American Pie', this week I have a lesson on the original bass line. This is an epic bass line from Rob Stoner, that is improvised all the way through! The bass line is pretty busy, using a combination of triads, scales and repeated 8th note patterns, and it's really fun to play. Because the song is so long, in the video lesson I've just picked out the key passages from the bass line, but you can download a full transcription of the note-for-note original Rob Stoner bass line. Enjoy!

Found out what the pickup is. It’s a custom wound Curtis Novak. Sounds clean and crisp with the tone wide open and punchy / growly with it wound off. Responds really well to subtle changes in how hard you play with fingers. In that closed position it can deliver a really smooth, full, sound if played with care and then turns into a bit of a rock monster if you hit the strings harder. Perfect for moving from Bad to Beautiful Day or those classic U2 slower songs that build and build to a more aggressive climax. I gigged it last night and really liked it!

Saw Agnostic Front last night at Robins in Wolverhampton. Not seen them for years. They were still good.

I understood @ped was reconfiguring the site as pickguardchat.co.uk as there has been significantly more discussion of that topic than almost all others recently (although freedomfromamplifierschat.co.uk is also under consideration) 👍
