  2. Find Me - Kings of Leon
  3. Beautiful bass, if I can sell my Fender Mustang competition Burgundy, up on Reverb and Facebook marketplace, I'd buy it, smart mods too, I never liked the idea of those toaster buttons ...I've never bought & sold on the forum, not sure how, maybe I should
  4. The bass aside, I'd be very wary about buying from any trader called "Fair Deal" anything. I mean, deal is quite a pale wood but this is obviously red...
  5. Stax legend, Blues Brother and master of the Telecaster. A giant of popular music. RIP, Steve, say hi to Duck.
  6. Hi @Si600 And I know which is far more usable. I could probably cobble together a better bass from the firewood than the bass for sale. I'm going to watch it just to see if any fool is parted from his money. Also as there is a discount on three bags or more I could probably get half a bag or so extra.
  7. Looking For Cluedo - Robert Palmer
  8. Paint it Backgammon - The Modettes
  9. Or for the same price, seven bags of this stuff... https://nenevalleyfirewood.co.uk/product/kiln-dried-economy-firewood/?srsltid=AfmBOoqmVox3yrPuzTfRn4cnfIkTHh-8RvfEOLL1q3kJcjXFF_yenBh1
  10. The Name of the Game - ABBA
  11. He can play slap but chooses not to and for that reason alone, he's alright.
  12. One of those powerhouse session guys from who played on more hit records in 60s and 70s than you coud ever name. One thing I didn't know until reading his obituary is that he co wrote 'Sitting on the dock of the bay' which for most musicians would have been a career peak achievement. For Steve Cropper it was just another day in the office. RIP
  13. Nice one! I stand corrected on the black colour. That’s more than cool that you got to ask the man himself. Hope the shows are going well for you.

  15. Hi, I haven't had these for long (I used to own both these pedals many years ago, but bought them for the second time recently), but a recent change in musical direction has now made these obsolete. I have about 700€ invested in these and I' m looking to get back 650€ for them which seems reasonable considering the ridiculous prices the seperate pedals go for these days. I'm selling to fund some new hardware and onboard pre-amp for my main axe, so I'm not interested in trades this time, sorry.. Shipping from Belgium. Sales pitch: Up for sale is this magnificant duo of rare pedals made by Spencer at 3 Leaf Audio. The Proton is his take on the Mutron III filter and it doesn't get much funkier than this! The Doom is a unique sounding fuzz that is extremely dynamic and can get supersynthy. When combined these pedals offer a wide variety of funky and synthy sounding tones that are used by lany great artist that are looking to get someyhing "extra" out of their pedalboard (think of Stuart Zenders work with Jamiroquai, Tim Lefebre, Janek Gwizdala,...) Due to the very limited production these are very hard to come by and they keep going up in value, so finding a set like these two is quite a rare opportunity. Both pedals come with the original packaging and can be shipped worldwide. Kind regards, Don
  16. So sad to learn that Steve Cropper has died. A great loss.
  17. Playing Your Game, Baby - Barry White
  18. It's probably worth digging this up again. This thread could do with it...
  19. A follow-up for anyone to whom it may concern. If you are a stoner/doom fuzz-head, follow the Method B described in the manual to tweak your Pre-Gain and turn this thing into a beast of a quasi-octave fuzz that can outgain many purpose-built gain monsters. If you are a funky person, follow the Method A instead. Tweak it right and you won't get a bad setting from this baby. If you want a little bit of both, still follow Method A. Even fine-tuned for funk-stank, it will deliver TONS of heavy gain if cranked. Also, mixing it with a different wah/autowah pedal and toying with the knobs will allow you to do the vowel (formant) wah, and setting it right (either LPF and "-" or HPF and "+" can create nice funky variations on slow-attack effect.
  20. This was my son’s first kit, it’s spent the last year disassembled at his mum’s house though and it’s time to move it on. Missing a foot but everything else seems to be there. Will supply with a spare drum head but stool not included. First photo is from when it was set up at my house a few years back, others all from today. Collection only due to size etc…

  21. I've had this for a few years and not really used it much, and with life about to get more expensive I can't justify keeping it. These are very hard to come by (hence the price), and it doesn't look like Spencer is going to be building them again any time soon. It's definitely one of the most malleable filters out there, with lots of controls for attack, decay, response etc, plus the FX loop. I don't have the original box, only the Wonderlove box it had when I bought it, but it does have the original instructions. Reduced to £800 Price includes insured delivery.
  22. I’ve just finished watching it. I really enjoyed it and thought the final episode was the best. In the scope of basslines that are great, it actually covers little ground, but I can see potential in a further series.
  23. He was actually voted Behs Player of the Year, and was the only nominee.
  24. Ask him why this one has the crappy Fender logo but his original one had the full 70's TV logo...
