  1. Past hour
  2. MXR M85 bass distortion. Great distortion pedal in good condition. Velcro on the bottom. £90 delivered. Any questions just ask 👍
  3. I had one of these…. Ended upside my head
  4. How do the jury feel About “filth” like this ? tier2 fail on the pickup, bridges aren’t signal path so I think you’re home Free on that one
  5. I’d probs do this, especially if it’s a bass you actually like. I prefer my 4 strings drop tuned rather than 5 strings personally (A# standard for me)
  6. Greatest speaker to improve any TC Electronic with 8 inches speakers. GLWYS.
  7. Not as hard as you might think, certainly no harder than classical guitar. It was always an ambition of mine as I love both the instrument and that era of music. When I happened to see an old 7-course tenor lute at a local instrument dealers stall at Pontardawe Festival one summer I had to have it (turned out to be a nice one; a 1966 Harwood & Isaacs), and I just worked through Diana Poulton's "Tutor for the Renaissance lute" which is excellent, and there must be so much more teaching available on the internet these days. Good thing is most lute music is written in tablature form, and many of the loveliest pieces are very simple ones; Renaissance music was in many ways just an evolution of folk dances and songs. You should try again! The Early Music Shop does self-build lute kits. Mandolin is lovely too, mind - I have far too many of those as well.......
  8. Another tier 2 fail - new tailpiece for the guitar shown, plus a new guitar pickup. Still no new bass purchases, though.
  9. Yesterday my WP-12 packed up. It's had just over a month of use, perhaps a 3-4 hours every few days. Not impressed. Will submit for a refund in the morning. The unit can be charged but does not turn on. No green light, no audio to the receivers, no red light return charging. I noticed that it had lost all its charge and was warm to the touch.
  10. Have just fitted a set of LaBella Mustangs on my classic vibe Mustang and they’re perfect. Really nice tension and silky smooth.
  11. Have to say that's one of the most beautiful basses I've ever seen - an absolute work of art I can only imagine that it plays just as beautifully GLWTS
  12. No worries @ProjeKtWEREWOLF - I don’t think I’ve watched this since the 90’s. So many gems in there. Good luck with the stretches 😀
  13. 2m 30s shows lower gain settings Listening to it, isn’t helping me with wanting to sell it 🙄 was fine in box not looking at me.
  14. I use regular scale Elixirs on my Mustangs, fit fine
  15. Today
  16. Weird as it seems, the Hidersine gigbag was the best one I found to use with the aluminium bass.
  17. I bought one of these when they were only £400, you won’t break it though 👍 https://www.thomann.co.uk/soundwear_performer_3234_02.htm
  18. Maiden voyage for this setup tonight. It's a tight space with low ceilings.
  19. This is Mike Beigel’s small format, 9V recreation of his legendary Mu-Tron III pedal. This is in excellent condition and not used as much as I thought I would ( another Chilis Project never came off ) Comes with original box and paperwork. Price includes next day shipping Trades, I am after a Digitech Drop Tuner so that would be of interest

  21. Well, strictly speaking any compressor with a sidechain filter would do that too...
