  1. Past hour
  2. Id still trust the WS-90, but will avoid using it at home. Ive only really just started using it with FX so maybe its always been like this, but until recently i had have no issues at all. Always thought it looked ugly though. For reference, here are the 3 i own side by side.

  7. That's amazing for a duo act!
  8. Today
  9. Could I have just the P bass split pickup please, leave the jazz for someone else ??
  10. ‘Don’t Stop Believing’ - smothered in chorus!
  11. Roll off each pickup and see if that makes the issue change. It's not a complex circuit. Could you send me some photos of inside the cavity to see if there's anything obvious?
  12. Shielding issue is also a good shout especially if it is worse when you move nearer your amp
  13. Most pub music venues have realised a solo singer or duo, open mic night is a cheap way to give live music paying £150-£200 As a band it should be around £300-£400 but most small pubs cannot afford it paying £200 -£300 tops Plus the old bands play too loud issue is often a reason not to get re-booked if they are struggling locally with noise complaints. I don’t think pub venues have a clue about band quality or how good they are and book the same old bands each month as a lazy approach to booking music
  14. I've played the green Wattplower in a shop in Glasgow and a few other Reverend guitars - They're very well made. I like the look of the yellow and root beer, but I prefer a 34" scale. The pink fade up top is lovely.
  15. Definitely a fretless. 100%.
  16. This is what starts the urban mythology that caps are "always" the culprit, they always go bad, without digging a little deeper to discover that there are products that last decades without any cap failures. You kind of get what you pay for usually 😉
  17. Brilliant! Is that the Root Beer Sparkle, I love that colour too. How do you find yourself using the pickups and tone controls? It's an unusual setup!
  18. I use a Marshall Regenerator on the vintage chorus setting- as others mentioned very subtly applied - just adds a dimension like a nice reverb would, but without muddying things up. its not an “always on” effect though. For me.
  19. Selling another one of my bass guitars as am reducing my collection For sale is my 6 string Anaconda bass guitar its a wonderful bass but has sustained damage with what looks like a crack in the lacquer very hard to tell but the bass plays like new has no bad effect on the sound or playability its a chance to get a great bass guitar for a bargain price damage shown in the picture Finished in Black Burst gloss, Matching Headstock Rock Maple Neck - 6 Bolt, Bolt on Maple Fingerboard Frets: 24 Frets Aguilar OBP3 Active 3-Band Preamp. 20. Yesterday
  21. I’d go again - I’ve done “that’ll do” stuff in the past and regretted it. you’re obviously skilled…maybe get close to the size shape of the rout template and finish off with a file?
  22. Also interesting, given the thousands of Spectors you've owned 😅
  23. And some Pub Landlords tend to favor "cheap". We have few places where the owner/managers are living in the past and won't budge from $350.00. We won't take those types of gigs. Off topic, sort of. I know some folks here are not in this for the money, which is fine. However, some of us are. I've never hit the big time or even come close. I'm a struggling local guy. In my area we have some $50.00 a night guys, $70.00, and $100. 00 a night guys. I can proudly say I'm a $150.00 a night guy. That's not much money, but more than most guys are getting around here. Daryl
