  1. Past hour
  2. Not a hope in hell of any of my 80’s band agreeing to do anything from that list. I don’t think any of our audience would expect it either.
  3. That's really quite restrained & conservative for a Wandre. I've never found any of their designs particularly appealing but live in hope that, wonky-looking & tacky as they are, one day one will turn up at the car boot for a tenner.
  4. Here's a picture taken at an 80s gig I do We're called Miami Vice Reloaded
  5. Hi mate. I don’t seem to be able to message you, but I’ll take the Icefall if it’s still available.
  6. Yes of course
  7. Well, here goes... Just a loop recorded on to my phone, so quality is poor. Neck, middle, then bridge. It's wearing Thomastik rounds at the moment, so the tone is not as smooth as with the flats... Friday at 7-31 pm.m4a
  8. Not had this very long, bought this and a les paul copy to see which I preferred, and the les paul won! Only just though - it's a great instrument. Very playable neck, not heavy, and the neck pickup sounds particularly good. I've modified it slightly - tortoiseshell pickguard and cream covers and knobs. As you can see, I didn't do a very good job of enlarging the pole piece holes to fit the bridge pickup cover. I will include the original white guard, covers and knobs in the sale. Also put Graphtec string trees on. Lovely satin black finish, with the relicing on the back. The fingerboard is either reliced or played in, or both! It's great...! It's from 2012, by the way.

  9. I had one of these, really great bass and a wide range of tones, GLWYS
  10. Would you be able to post?
  11. GL M-2000 Tribute Bass neck in great condition Bought for a project that never happened! Fitted with decent Gold Finish Machine heads -- Truss rod works fine. Any inspection welcome or can Post at Cost --- Heel size in photos
  12. I love these finishes!
  13. First time using the Aguilar plugin suite which fixed a problem for me, though a problem I didn’t quite fix was my intonation on the fretless Stingray I got recently and recorded with for the first time, so it only appears in 2 small sections by the skin of it's teeth 😬 Coasting - a deep dreamy kind of vibe that reminds me partly of holidays abroad years back, and partly of British summers in my youth - this tune kind of captures both for me. Though there’s a tiny bit of rock thrown in towards the end too as they were just sat there, scattered on the beach….
  14. Now I find ( picking up my strat - after so many years away from 6 string ) that the strat actually sounds better going through the Ampeg than my Blues Junior ! ( with some adjustment to the eq )
  15. I'm more offended by their homogenised, twee pop-reggae tbh. How about Tim Westwood? More Ali-G than Ali-G....
  16. PM’d. 👍
  17. He probably absorbed it from the multi cultural hotspot he grew up in. He played with black musicians for years. Like my accent it probably comes and goes depending who he is with and what he is doing. I don’t think he’s putting it on
  18. I'm heading to the Peak District in September so could take it should anyone that way be interested. Cheers.
  19. Check Nathan Watts as he was the official bass player for Stevie Wonder in 2005 (between two diets, he could have looked that way). 😉
  20. Link to SE Bash
  21. Today
  22. I think I have only ever seen one picture of RFW and that is the one in the Shadows of Motown book. Could be...
  23. Squier PJ pickups & harness. Removed from a 2001 Squier Standard PJ. Price includes UK postage & everything you see in the picture - the nuts for the pots are missing unfortunately. cheers!
  24. It only took you 15 years 😄
  25. It's George Duke on keyboards, and the bassist plays a Marcus Miller Fender signature bass, so maybe Freddy Washington is right.
  26. Noll with volume (push/pull for active/passive), balance, tone, bass, mid, treble yes it comes with new gig bag
