  1. Past hour
  2. The latency is a big selling point. The latency with my 1st gen Scarlett is fine by itself but when you start piling on NDSP plugins etc any reduction is a big win.
  3. Thanks Pete I ended up going for this: Stagg Keyboard Stand A bit heftier, but it's only going between the room and the living room
  4. I’m a combination of black/white/blue, with blue probably being more me than the others.
  5. You might try homebrewing something from a plank, a lighting pole and a speaker top hat. How about a laptop stand? I think a respray might be in order, the colour scheme looks like something out of a care home for old steel guitar players .https://www.dunelm.com/product/ozzy-adjustable-laptop-table-1000266671?defaultSkuId=30966581&branchCode=0122 Slightly nicer finish - similar to the big music stands that MDs like to use. https://www.gear4music.com/PA-DJ-and-Lighting/Adjustable-Laptop-Stand-by-Gear4music/WJS?utm_campaign=surfaces_across_google

  7. That headstock 😗
  8. Temu 5x guitar wall hanger (I haven't fitted 1/3 of the back plate yet), my absolutely dreadful DIY skills... What could go wrong??? There's a stack of soft cases on the floor just in case the worst does happen!
  9. Telling us what's making you unhappy with the OBP-3 might help.
  10. Have put this on eBay, but would take £325 (or offers) for this amazing interface here if anyone was interested.

  12. Same here. People would be trotting round telling everyone they were an E.N.T.J or whatever. I think I turned out to be a T.W.A.T when I took the test.
  13. I thought there might be some folks on BC who might like to check out this free course on building VSTPlugins on any OS platform. Link: Bootcamp – Audio Dev School Lifted from another forum: Hello! For the last few months, I've been building an eLearning platform called Audio Dev School. The purpose is to teach how to make audio software and all the stuff that goes along with that. For the initial launch I'm starting with a single course, 'The HISE Bootcamp'. The course is 100% free and is designed for beginners, although there's probably stuff in there that more experienced users will also find useful. The videos walk through the process of building two simple plugins with HISE (a sample library and an effect). We then move on to building HISE from source and compiling our projects. Along the way we'll cover a bunch of subjects from basic things like finding your way around the HISE UI to more advanced concepts like Ad-Hoc codesigning for testing your plugins on MacOS. Feel free to share it with anyone you think would find it useful. Please let me know if you run into any issues with the website or any of the course material - there's usually something that goes wrong on launch day!
  14. this is previously mine and I wish I have the funds to buy it back. Bump.
  15. Looks like a Plywood body -- Very dodgy!
  16. This is a thing of beauty. Have a bump to the top on me!
  17. Hi everyone Selling this Aguilar rig .The amp was up for sale recently and withdrawn as a friend wanted to buy it. Unfortunately this deal has not materialised due to some sad circumstances and so now I am re listing it along with an SL410 it is an extraordinary rig with power/ width/ girth - almost a physical experience as well as tonally One of the greatest amps that still is seen on stages all over the world it is in a sleeve which is in good condition The cab is in very good condition with no tears and only a couple of light scuffs Price wise, I am happy to discuss but the amp is around £1350 ovno and the cab at £650 ovno Happy to split, answer any questions and discuss shipping Thanks for looking and just ask if you need

  18. Ahhhh! I decided to take one for the team and just ordered a Hartwood Satellite from G4M. Couldn’t resist the GAS. I’ve gone for the blue (like the one Bass the World tested). They had a nearly new one for £30 off and I wondered if that was the bass that Bass the World tested. I was tempted, because Gregor said the frets were perfect but I decided to take a risk on this being a Hartwood feature (just jinxed myself) and to get the full 3 year warranty, so ordered a new one. I will let you know what I think of it in due course. I suspect I will end up changing some parts: I can’t resist tinkering with cheap basses. The bridge might not be a straightforward upgrade because it looks like it has only got a mounting screw at each corner, rather than the ubiquitous Fender 5 screw mounting. The pickup might just be swapped for a Tone Rider; possibly a Duke.
  19. Was it the "Baggy Vadge Gita" by Shakti ??😁😆
  20. Next gig for me is a rare live outing with The Inevitable Teaspoons on Friday 5th September at Krakatoa in Aberdeen. Please come - the original headliner bowed out and we could do with some more bodies in the kirk, if you know what I mean. https://www.facebook.com/events/1246508667088048

  22. Hi everyone. Selling my Alain Caron combo. It’s in great condition, no marks or tears. It’s light, it’s loud and it’s very articulate. Here is what markbass say; Top-level sounding combo designed with bass legend Alain Caron, the COMBO 121 LITE is a powerful bi-amp combo, now updated with a 300W power amp for the new compression driver, and 500W power amp for the 12” speaker with maximum fidelity, headroom and dynamics! Alain Caron is known for his high standards, and the components in this combo were carefully chosen to reach those standards. Will post at buyer expense Thanks for having a look
  23. Decided to pull her from sale, I may change my mind at a later date. 😉
  24. Nobody will be surprised. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/388847083615
